Winslow would be a good pickup. He is more mature now and probably has made all his rookie gaafs and is ready to settle down and play some football. I vote to pick him up.
I dont watch a lot of news so I dont get to see any press on this subject. That is why I was asking if it's talked about at all in the local press or national press for that matter. And the during the games it is not mentioned that he is calling audibles out of the sent in play. Everyone copies Peyton Manning style to some degree of waving your arms, walking around pointing even on a sent in play so its impossible to tell now if he is calling an audible trying to confuse the defense.
It would be great if TE was at the point to read the def. and audible a play to counteract the def. formation. I'm not sure if he has reached that point yet, at the beginning of the season Turk said that TE was going to call audibles. Anyone see this mentioned in the news?
Interesting stats. I dont agree with the statement that we dont have the WR's or TE's to run slant patterns. Slants are all about timing and body placement issues, mainly getting the WR's body inbetween the ball and the defender. It doesn't matter about the size of the defenders IMHO.
I think the other teams have been stacking the box more when ML is in their. Jackson tends to get more of the playaction pass plays. screens and dumpoffs. ML gets more between the tackle plays. Turk needs to get more unpredictable and give ML they play action pass dumpsoffs.
Speaking of Turk, he has been getting more predictable with every game. He is becoming way to run run pass type of a playcaller. Where are those slants ? Passes to TE's etc.
I think we do a lot of long time possesion type drives. We have the ball for 15 plays , 8 minutes and then a TD. This makes for lower scoring games than what SD and NO are doing. They have more quick strike TD's and therefore there stats are a higher.
Once more, as you said, burying them would solve the problem. Hence burying them is covering them or encasing them. Sheild them is some god damn way, it is possible. Dont tell me it's not.
If you encase the transformer in a shell or case or something then mylar ballons or small animals cant get tangled up and short the transformer out. No exposed wires means no shorts !
Ummm , how about covering the damn transformers to start with. They didn't take reasonable care to prevent the problem. We should sue RWS for the outage.
