Take away the shoulder pads as well. Old school tackling will then take place. If you watch closely, most so called tackles are merely rocket launches with the shoulder to knock the person down, there is very little arm tackling taking place.

I agree completely. I have raised two children who are in college and will be successful adults. I never spanked them once in their lives. I took away privileges for misbehaving, and that was all that was needed. For my son, it was the threat of taking away his playstation or xbox to get him to behave correctly. As a parent you have to find the magic button that will get the child to cooperate.

Just like LT huh? I would have the medical staff check this guy out thoroughly to see what is going on. He definately could help if he can stay healthy. Maybe he needs the change of scenery and a chip on his shoulder.

Let was released because of a health issue as well. It always seemed that LT was standing on the sidelines injured for the big game. It got to be very frustrating to see year after year.

So your saying Kelsay is better than Merriman? Thats laughable, we need to bring him in and see if he can help this sorry assed bunch of sissy LB's. Dont forget that SD's defense was rated #1 or #2 this year, Merriman is playing with a much better crew of guys making tackles. Merriman will be coming into a piss poor group of LB's and DL's and he will be the big fish in a small pond and making lots of tackles. Can he stay healthy is the bigger question.

Which QB is #1 worthy? Qb's are the biggest long shots out there. Sign a FA QB if you have too! I'd be happy with Fitz until the other wholes are filled.

He is definately better than our LB's. The knock on Merriman is he can't seem to stay healthy for the last 3 years. That is why his numbers are way off. maybe our crack medical staff would help him out in that regard. The cold tub maybe?
