I'm happy to get the win! But Does Chan know how to call a sweep? Pitchout? Reverse, Slant or end around, He called two plays all day, run up the middle and the bomb down the side. He needs to be more diverse. And the three run plays up the middle before the half that gave Detroit the opportunity to kick the 3 before half. If he calls one slant we convert and run the clock out. His play calling sucks if you ask me. We need a younger more creative play caller.

The other interesting thing he said was about Merriman. According to Nix he has been working out like a maniac and they had to tell him to slow down. That sounds good to me.

As much as I like Fitz, his lapse in accuracy, is a problem. I wonder if Chan can fix the mental mistakes he is making to avoid the costly laps in accuracy? I think it is a mental problem he has to overcome to take his game to the next level. A sports psychologist may be in order for Fitz. I hope he can do it.

Having a baby will change your priorities and your motivation. Being a Dad is the best job in the world. It's harder than hell, don't kid yourself about that. But very rewarding. Get a job, keep the job and relax and enjoy your being a Dad. Don't get stressed out, it will all work out.

Going off my memory (which is bad) AJ Smith wanted him to have off season surgery on his knee or heel (cant remember exactly) to be ready for the new year. SM didn't want to have the surgery and said he could play. First game of the year, SM found out he should have had the surgery and was IR'd the rest of the year. He also had a pectorial muscle injury if I remember right as well. They weren't to friendly after that, combined with the drug suspension, Tila Tequila horseshit. So basically he has been cooling his jets for the last two years. Merriman should be a monster ready to go.

Not sure what is up with the media, but SM and AJ Smith just didn't get along at all. So hopefully a new team, fresh start and we will see the new old Merriman. All the Charger fans I bump into are congratulating me and hoping he kicks ass here in Buffalo. SM was a very popular player.

As bad as our LB's are! It's a no brainer, you bring him in for a look see. He is used to playing in a 3-4 as well, he could teach these rookies a few things.

He probably wore out his welcome in San Diego with his antics and drug problems. A fresh start, one year deal may be just what the doctor ordered. I would definately try him for one year.

Any stats on how often the kicker misses the second kick?
