I hope not. The run defense of the early 90's sucked. That's why we lost all the superbowls. Couldn't stop the run. Our offense was awesome! But not the defense. Special teams rocked as well.

Yes, this defense could not get off the field last year. This year I see more 3 and out's for the defense which will give our offense more opportunity to score points. I think at least 8-8 if not better. If we stay healthy, we could be 10 - 6.

With all this preseason talk. Did anyone see the Pats Bucs game? The Pats were killing the Bucs with their base defense. There was a few blitzes byt mostly the DT's just crushing the pocket and Josh Freeman. They are going to be tough to beat this year.

Why the ILB's to cover RB's on screens? If the OLB sees the RB lined up wide should he stay home and watch for that screen pass and react. He's closer to the RB than the ILB.

I dont see Buffalo having any interest in Tebow. We have a Tebow like wildcat QB in Brad Smith but even better than Tebow. The announcers even said that until Tebow shows he can connect a pass deep the defenses are going to stack the box and he isn't going to do anything. The RB's wont do anything because Tebow can't throw the ball downfield. Thats what the two announcers were saying. So I'll take their advice and stay away from Tebow. And if you watched the final two minutes of the game, Brad Smith was throwing the ball downfield, a much better wildcat QB than Tebow.
