  1. Some one to help Fitz throw a long ball with some kind of accuracy. He needs a lot of help in that regard.
  2. I agree that was bush league. Families should be left alone. I would have left as well if my family was being hassled or found a private school that was a safe haven (sp?)
  3. Screw the bridge. Build a tunnel! Then no wires to bother the birds.
  4. Maybe he wasn't physically injured by that hit. But maybe that hit had him hearing footsteps all season and that's why his production fell.
  5. Your intended meaning got lost in translation. English can be a B word some times. I think the point you were trying to make was that Denver didn't give up on running the ball the whole game. They kept running McGahee up the gut on first down for 1 , 2 or 3 yards. Then on the first play on first down in overtime, Steelers are expecting McGahee up the middle yet again. But this time it is play action pass that goes all the way and wins the game. That was dedication to the running game. I kept saying to myself all game, that McGahee slamming up the gut just wasn't doing anything, why keep doing it? That overtime period first play was brilliant. Denver beat the snot out of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh was lucky to get it to overtime. I think the Bills would have have whooped up on Steelers in that game.
  6. He said if you can get QB pressure with your front 4, that is a good defense. So I guess he is leaning to the 4 -3.
  7. Our losing skid started when the injuries started to really pile up. This cannot be overlooked. We were ripping it up when full strength. The defense was still ugly but the offense was compensating for the flaws. Next year with a better DC, new defensive talent, back to full strength. I expect a good year next year. They have got to figure out how to avoid the injury bug. whether it's diet related, strength and conditioning related, stretching? I don't know but they have to get a handle on it.
  8. I love Fitzy, but his long ball is brutal. He has no touch whatsover. Now if we could combine Tebow's long ball with Fitz's short game we would have something to write home about.
  9. Everything has a cycle. We will be on top again sometime. Maybe 20 years from now. But it will happen.
  10. If you want to be an eagle you have to soar with eagles. Better competition will just make us get better.
  11. Either Channel 10 or 8. I forget which. I like KUSI though, better local coverage than 10 or 8.
  12. Ryan has a lot of positives. He can read the defenses well, can male the short throws, has good wheels, tough as nails. He struggles with the long ball. He really has to windup to make the throw and loses the fine touch. I think it is pure genetics where the muscle attaches to the bone, how long your arm bone is, it is pure catapult mechanics. When I was a kid, there was a kid we played football with, he could throw the ball farther than anyone of us just with a light flick of his arm, than anyone of us taking a running start at throwing the ball with a monster windup. It was freaky how far he could throw the ball. It had to be pure mechanics of bone length, muscle attachment, etc. So naturally he played QB and had great touch on hitting the WR's. I think he could throw the ball 70 to 80 yards without to much trouble and be accurate.
  13. So I'm watching the local news about fan reaction to Norv and AJ being kept. So this dude Mike Moreno is being interviewed about season tickets. He says "Yes I just bought season tickets because I'm tired of the Bills sucking" Funny as all hell.
  14. Wow, great golfing outfit!
  15. I wish Wade was still our DC and head coach. He was excellent.
  16. Bingo his stats came from plays that took way to long to develop. He would get pushed 20 yards down field and then he would run back up the field. If the QB hadn't got rid of the ball yet he got his sack. Or the QB trying to run out of bounds. His stats are really just the equivilent of garbage time stats.
  17. Norv's 5 year record is 49 - 31. Not bad really, playoffs in 2 or 3 of 5 years. Averaging 10 wins a year. I was surprized he was up for firing. Now AJ I could see firing. San Diego is getting weaker and weaker talent wise. That isn't Norv's fault.
  18. Injuries really hurt us bad this year. Gailey and Nix get a pass on that alone. One bad move Nix did do was relying on Merriman to be healthy. That was a bad decision right there. When Merriman went down, Nix had no answer for that. This year he better have a plan in place or he does deserved to be fired. They also should review training and pregame warmups to prevent injuries next year. There had to be a reason for so many injuries, it just wasn't normal.
  19. Great news! Good first step! Now draft players to get a pass rush and LB's that can seal a corner.
  20. my WTF moment today was the penalty on us for pushing Brady down after the pick. He is fair game for anything after a pick. Total BS call.
