Peyton Manning had a 56% completion rate in his rookie year. Eli Manning had a 48% completion rate in his rookie year. Drew Brees had a 60% rate his second year and a 57% rate his 3rd year. Jim Kelly had a 59% rate his rookie year and in 1995 had a 55% rate. But take a look at John Elway's stats. His career completion rate is 56%.

I think to conclude that Josh Allen isn't good is premature. Allen needs a supporting staff around him before we can see if he's a good qb or not. He looks like a rookie and has shown lots of positives and some negatives to this point in the season. I wanted to see how his rookie season has compared to a rookie season of a "good qb" in Jared Goff. Goff greatly improved in his second season and many wrote him off as a bust after his first. Year Age G GS QBrec Cmp Att Cmp% Yds TD Int Lng Y/A AY/A Y/C Y/G Rate QBR 4QC GWD Goff 2016 22 7 7 0-7-0 112 205 54.6 1089 5 7 66 5.3 4.3 9.7 155.6 63.6 18.9 Allen 2018 22 9 8 3-5-0 119 227 52.4 1429 5 9 75 6.3 5 12 158.8 62.8 55.1 1 2

Sorry, but you can't have it both ways!
Zackry00 replied to ThurmasThoman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love that. We can't have it both ways. I know that this is only preseason and Coach Marrone has one main job: To put our players in a position to succeed. Right now he's evaluating the players and schemes. -

The Bills play KC this year because we both were last in our perspective divisions. We lined up with AFC West for that one game slot. It's the same reason why NE is slated to play Denver this year. I understand the home and aways haven't been determined yet, I should have added that as a disclaimer.

The league is set up on a rotating schedule. Next year we'll play intra-division teams twice (Pats, Jets, Dolphins), then we'll play each of the AFC West teams (KC and SD at home), and each of the NFC north teams (GB and Minn at home), the last two games are based upon our finish position in our division. We'll match up with the rank in the AFC North for one game and AFC South for the other one. http://johnnyroadtrip.com/schedules/nfl_future_afce.htm

Plantar fasciitis...anyone familiar with this?
Zackry00 replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I've been battling PF for the past 2 years. I was the the Pediotrist probably 10 times last year for checks, cortisone shots, shoe insert fittings, followups, etc. I finally had a good cortisone shot that kept for a bit. Until the last 3 weeks. It seems to have worn off and now I have another appointment on Monday to see if there is any alternative treatment. I've read about two different treatments if your case is as bad as mine. One is called ESWT- Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extracorporeal_shockwave_therapy The other is PRP - Platelet Rich Plasma http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platelet-rich_plasma Both are not covered by my insurance, but in reviewing these treatments, it seems that they work better than the cortisone shots and are more permanent, just not justified by a long enough patient trials. The out of pocket was quoted to me at about $500 for these treatments, but for me that seems worth it to be able to sleep without a night splint and be in pain in the mornings and evenings. Hope this helps. -
I wear (insert # here) jersey because...

i just got a #13 Johnson jersey. I love the way he plays hard, plays hurt, and plays with intensity. Plus he has back to back 1000 yard seasons -

This is uninspiring. I'm glad we have a young QB waiting in the wings.... oh wait, we didnt get one. I think we'll be better, but this is rough -

Seeing is bill-ieving - reality check
Zackry00 replied to SouthernMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who pissed in your corn flakes this morning? Don't you know the Bills are going to win the Superbowl this year!? Thanks for the dose of reality, we all are very optimistic with all the moves being made, but we all should know there is still a lot to be proven. -
As a project manager for Pentair Water Pool & Spa, we manufacture pool cleaners branded under the Sta-Rite and Kreepy brand. So my opinion my be a bit biased. It depends on what type of pool you have. For aboveground / onground pools, the best functioning cleaner is the Lil Shark. It has much less moving parts than the Hayward and Polaris competition and is one of those that do a great job day in and day out cleaning the pool. For an inground pool, I'd recommend the Legend cleaner. It's a pressure cleaner with a bag attached. It climbs walls, has a scrubber, and is a pretty fast cleaning cleaner. As for the Polaris recommendation, the 380 is a great cleaner and does function better than the 3900. Keep your eyes peeled for some new cleaners coming out from Pentair in the next few months...

Why does Gailey insist on abandoning the run so early. We can't move the ball consistently with passing 80% if the time. RUN THE DAMN BALL -
I didn't know this. Thanks.

Everything I heard was that he was cramping up real bad late in the game. I haven't heard anything since.

When did we pick up Fred Taylor? If we actually did have him on the Bills, I'd make fun of his age too. Typical Raiders fan, doesn't know much about football. If you did, you'd probably be a fan of another team.

that's only eight times per hour, every hour, every day, for a year. Sounds reasonable.
