Same energy as the last few years?
mushypeaches replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was way more pumped up the last two seasons, but maybe we got too high too early last year. 2022 definitely taught us about how long the season really is, and how hard it is to be peaking at the right time. So maybe we'll just not be as great of a regular season team this year, but have improved mental energy and fewer injuries by the time we get into January. Once we're there - anything can happen! But yes, let's also beat the snot out of Rodgers and the over-hyped Jets this evening! -
Anyone going to the Commanders game
mushypeaches replied to Behindenemylines's topic in The Stadium Wall
We have a good sized group driving in from Harrisburg PA. There's a big Bills Backers tailgate being run by a local group called Fans of Buffalo through EventBrite $79 all you can eat & drink with breakfast buffet, BBQ buffet, etc We went to a similar event in Baltimore last year and it was well worth it! But I agree that it's potentially going to be close to 50% Bills fans at this game - which is great! -
I bought my first red jersey for this year (have 5 blue ones in reserve) Broke my usual guideline of going with established players and went right for Dalton Kincaid I think he's going to be a monster and buck the usual trend of our high draft picks not being huge contributors during Year 1

What do you all think of games being canceled?
mushypeaches replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
They won't cancel a regular season game for anything less than what happened to Damar Hamlin last year I wish you luck with that part - pretty sure there's a disclaimer on any ticket that absolves the NFL of any liability or refunding of tickets -
Josh Allen and starters will play against the Bears
mushypeaches replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this is a good plan despite the injury risks. Both sides of the ball need to be crisper and show overall readiness for the opener -
Josh Allen goes #1 overall to the Browns in a 2018 Redraft
mushypeaches replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's still amazing (and humorous) that we were able to get the Browns to pony up a 3rd round pick for Tyrod Taylor -
Outside of MLB, Where are the Bills Worse in 2023?
mushypeaches replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can't wait to hear Bears fans start complaining about Edmunds lack of stats, production, and overall inability to hit holes and/or shed blockers But but but he's still young and learning, and wow look at his wingspan! -
2022 Buffalo Bills Yearbook 9:00 TONIGHT !
mushypeaches replied to TSNBDSC's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm fascinated - how do you feel about the other 60 seasons that we didn't win a championship? Do you have any memories of back-to-back 2-14 seasons in 84 & 85? Personally, I liked winning 13 regular season and 1 post-season game. Yes we didn't get to the Super Bowl, but I choose to remember the year fondly. And before you nitpick, I was in attendance for the post-season debacle vs the Bengals. They sucked -
Do the Bills Practice as Hard as the Pats? Should They?
mushypeaches replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
So are the Pats just not practicing as hard these days, or are they just missing a HOF QB? -
McDermott & Beane Extended Through 2027
mushypeaches replied to BritBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The piece that disgruntled fans here seem to lack awareness of is exactly how hard both Beane & McDermott work to get better at their professions. They are open to new ideas, trying new things, and actively focusing on improving their own deficiencies in the off-season This isn't guys like Jeff Fisher, or Marty Schottenheimer, or Marvin Lewis, or Mike McCarthy who might have had some early success and mostly fiddly-farted their way through the last 2/3 of their careers - fans and pundits KNOWING that these guys weren't going to get any better or ever sniff a SB My point is that both guys, and especially McDermott are putting in the hard work and effort to keep the stability that they've built the last 6 seasons while making the changes and enhancements that are needed to improve and keep giving us shots at a ring. Each and every frigging year -
At our local Bills Backers bar, early on we adopted saying "OK Zay!" whenever he made a play. They were few and far between, so the tone of our exclamation ended up being more surprised than excited. As if it was a reminder that he was actually still on the team and taking snaps. I re-watch a lot of game on NFL Network from the 2017 and later era, and still chuckle and shout "OK Zay!" at the TV when he makes a catch. Alcohol definitely helps my enthusiasm there...

I legitimately did not see this coming. It feels like Beane blinked first knowing that he didn't have any DT's under contract for next year. Seems out of character

Ross Tucker ranks NFL Coach’s, places McDermott at #22.
mushypeaches replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm fascinated as to how the #22 ranked head coach makes the playoffs in 5 out of 6 seasons, has the highest winning % in franchise history, is 4-5 in playoff games, and has built a stable winning culture to a team that has had exactly one previous stretch in their history... still has a job? what a freaking joke -
They’re not going to burn a roster spot on Matt Barkley or any other third QB

Schedule Release - Rumors & Leaks
mushypeaches replied to FitzShowUsYourTitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
When that's the case, the 4:25 games are usually up against some juggernaut games like SEA-ARI that only 5% of the viewers in those exact home markets are going to see -
Schedule Release - Rumors & Leaks
mushypeaches replied to FitzShowUsYourTitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
So basically, the Jets are this year's Broncos Overhyped, with a washed up traded veteran QB And how cute, they even have Nathaniel Hackett too! -
Levi Wallce buried on depth chart; if he's cut...?
mushypeaches replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he were to come back and push Cam Lewis off the team, that would be outstanding
