  1. And this is why it never feels like 3rd and 10+ is never an automatic punt. We've seen Josh Allen convert more of these in 2 years than most QB's i yn a lifetime simply because he DOES NOT GIVE UP on these downs. And I'll take this mindset any day of the week vs the guy who might have a higher completion percentage but dumps it off to the RB in the flat for 6 yards when we need 12
  2. Yes... this is what finally puts him over the top as an egotistical, whiny, narcissistic, out of touch douche nozzle...
  3. Holy Christmas, I'd like some of what you're smoking
  4. Well said. This team is easy to like, easy to root for. But probably tough as hell to play against
  5. Wow... another job that she's eminently overqualified to perform
  6. Foster & McKenzie would seem to be gone unless they really flash something And I wouldn't see Roberts as a lock either. If Davis or Hodgins show anything on ST, he's probably gone too
  7. Not sure why trading draft picks for rotational running backs is seen as a great move for the Fish. You could draft the same guy for 1/2 the price
  8. Well said. It's definitely an advantage to not necessarily have to draft for need every freaking year because of a coaching change, scheme change, or letting top guys go in free agency. I'm intrigued to see what Beane does this year
  9. I am old enough to have seen all those games. We all knew what Jim meant to the team from a toughness and leadership perspective, but it's difficult to see him as ever being a better pure QB than Marino. We were all much happier rooting for Kelly too.
  10. I was thinking about this the other day too. I think Josh Allen is already the best QB in the division. And then I thought - this is probably the first time in history that the Bills can claim that
  11. Let them shift their game vs the Bills to Buffalo...
  12. I was in college at the time (UB) and living in Rochester. That was about the coldest 2-3 week stretch I remember experiencing. Just day after day of mind-numbing temps with daytime highs in the single digits. About 6 of us went to the game. There was no thought of tailgating. We had those instant handwarmers for our gloves and boots, but those tapped out by halftime. Luckily, my friend had a flask, and another friend went to take a leak at halftime, found a $20 on the ground and brought back hot cocoa for all. But you could tell the Raiders wanted no part of that game in the 2nd half, once we started coming back from being 11 points down. The elements, our team, and the crowd were too much for them.
  13. I'm fine with the TE room as is. No need to add salary at this time for marginal return
  14. Hard to argue with the analysis. I think we're at least average at most of the key position groups and are drafting for depth and backfill. Which is a nice position to be in
  15. I'm getting that there is a non-zero chance that we will have a shortened regular season. But it seems highly unlikely - rather that they would just extend further into the spring if necessary. They're not giving up the cash cow of TV and stadium gate money.
  16. OP, you are spot on. I've been thinking about this for some time now. The more this lingers, the better off the Bills should look this fall. Few teams have the continuity and team drive that the Bills will have. Significant competitive advantage, especially early in the year
  17. The short answer is that if they're smart, they don't trade up. Frankly, this might be a year to trade down and stockpile picks for future years. How many rookies do we need to make this team? Likely - not many
  18. I think we're mostly aligned to the desire to upgrade the position, but for way too many reasons, Winston is not the guy to do that with
  19. RB is the last position that we should be investing FA resources on. Draft, Draft, Draft - stay young, cheap, and healthy at the position Lather, rinse & repeat
  20. Lots of luck with that... God I hope we're nowhere near that conversation
  21. I'm thrilled with where we are on the D-line. Lots of depth, experience, versatility. This should be an area of strength for next year
  22. what a waste of money for the Colts. That's how you stay in QB purgatory
