  1. This jives with the article from the Athletic today on ranking teams based on QB tiers.  We are one of the teams that face the most QB's this year that are projected in the lowest tier, especially with all 3 of our divisional opponents being ranked that way.

Offense continues to be Top 5, Defense rises to Top 10 - hope for minimal injuries and have a great shot at going to the Super Bowl

After some quick calculations the PS (after weekly callups) will cost teams around $3M in cap.

Bills $9M in space right now is more like $6M.

    FWIW.

That would be a challenge if it were true, but the Cap is only based on top 50 or so salaries

The only comment was no big plays from special teams which was something we did not see.

I am worried about replacing him but believe the Bills need more big plays.

    This is nonsense

Roberts was consistently strong on returns and got us out to midfield or beyond several times.  The days of teams having returners like Devin Hester breaking multiple 100 yard kickoff returns per year are long past.  I'll gladly settle for consistent sustained strength

Additionally, our punt returns were also strong and McKenzie hit a home run in Week 17

We had a huge yardage season from Bojorquez, who while he has his ups and downs, was definitely more up than down last year

Bass broke out as a rookie, hit several long FG's with a decent FG %, and also boomed his kickoffs

Our kickoff and punt coverage teams were solid all year and definitely top echelon

We didn't have any kicks blocked and our long snapper was perfect

We have an excellent special teams unit with strong coaching and focus from head coach and GM

What more could we possibly want out of this unit?

  4. I really don't get the hate for Singletary.  He's an excellent pass-protector, and more than adequate receiver and rusher for the pass-heavy schemes that we run.  These are the most critical elements of his role on this team, and as noted, we have had a lot of turnover on the OL and again, the heavy emphasis on pass-blocking skills vs run-blocking.

He's just fine, and also comes cheap without a lot of tread on the tires.  Let's not be so hasty to run him out of town yet
