  1. My DVR f’ed up and I missed the first f’ing half. I was so pumped. That said, I’ll miss the entire first half if I was guaranteed that the Bills would be up 21-3. F’ING A** BILLS! I’ll rewatch but it won’t be awesome!
  2. I want revenge for sitting through 3/4 of SB XXVII. A memory I have of sitting in stacked parking until the cars eventually started to move after a lifetime of sitting in silence that is forever etched in my brain. GO BILLS!!!!
  3. Probably works like when Robert “Happy Ending” Kraft always squared up for Bellicheat’a acct. Reid and Mahomes will get their money back on the flip side.
  4. Trevor Bauer 2.0 (until all the facts come out). And, please note this is NOT a reflection of the legit victims!
  5. We were privileged to have the safety duo of Hyde and Poyer for as long as we did. It was like having two more DCs out there on the field whose effect on the defense and the younger secondary players will be a great loss.
  6. Wish we had a Ted Washington or Pat Williams clone! But, I’m very happy with Joseph, especially this late in the season and I’m sure the compensation is very fair. Gotta give Beane credit for the Douglas move too (heard nothing but positive things about him). I just wish we’d had depth at LB coming into the season but I think every team is short in one or more position groups (guess LB will be one of our three 6th round picks next year or an amalgamation of late picks to move up).
  7. Here’s a nice blurb about Johnson. Looks like he can start right away as opposed to a rookie CB that McD won’t play for another two years. 😈
  8. Missing three of our best players at each level is the reason why we’re looking at a loss to Robert “Tug and Rub” Kraft. MLB knows how to discipline cheaters. The NFL is more interested in higher ratings, protect Goodall’a friend, Kraft. If a real investigate journalist researched all of the cheating and had access to the NFL’s “archives” and the Zagruber films the Pats legacy would be tarnished forever.
  9. I’m not the sharpest tool in the toolbox but I have noticed that in today’s game they have thrown the ball to Cooks on I believe two occasions, and things worked out very well. When they drafted him, I thought they were going to be throwing him the ball because he was our McKinnon skillset back but one who could also run. So, I’m happy to see that they’re finally doing that and I hope it’s integrated into our OC’s game plan.
  10. Post Josh—we never had a running game like this. Cook is not a grind out the yards when defenses expect the run—he’s best at getting to the edge and cutting back between the tackles. Neither lend themselves to picking up those tough 2-4 yards you need when the D knows you have to run because Josh running with his Superman cape as our RB1 on every tough rushing down was Russian Roulette. I want him to retire a Bill and Murray and Harris are strong runners who can and have gotten us those tough yards. OL keeps up good work and we have a team that could have held off the Jets with a 13-3 halftime by pound the ball and grind D and the clock. Protect Josh while being able to win those battles.
  11. He’s far worse than the Cody Ford moves in the draft due his 1st round status but it’s still two major black marks on McBeane. I give credit where it’s due but you can’t ignore the bad ones especially with valuable draft capital. Before the hate comes my way, I’m a big fan of the way overdue change in the culture and I give credit for the good moves (still hated all the collecting of the Carolina scrap heap— understand theory but that’s only half ability to execute is the other half—Kelvin, Star (based on how much we paid),etc…. PLEASE DO NOT LABEL ME A HATER, I LOVE THE ORGANIZATION (especially not bringing back Frazier!).
  12. Murray gives us what we needed game one and I past years. He is a physical runner who can grind out yards (and TDs) when the other team knows it’s coming. Cooks ain’t that guy, he’s got a scintillating different skillset. Harris is also a grinder. Get leads, grind yards, no stupid passes (which should decrease if we have leads) and eat clock. I just want dubs. 17-7 games are fine by me (I’m only using that as an example score I know there’s been no such score). GO BILLS. We really need to filet those Dolphins next week especially at home. Drinks on the house (I’ll opt for some “Mother Nature”).
  13. Loving this game. OL deserves big time credit for taking on this vaunted front four (believe all 1st round picks). They talked about them like the Purple People Eaters, Fearsome Foursome, etc. And, Groot has been a stud.
  14. Can’t wait to see how that pass rush will be when Von is back.
  15. Nice post, bro. For me, #2 was really what I noticed the most yesterday. Against the Jets with a 13-3 halftime lead, all we needed to do was give ‘em a nice dose of Ground Chuck (lite) with a couple of FGs and we win. Unfortunately, as much as I enjoy Cooks and look forward to seeing him continue to develop into a dynamic player, his style of running isn’t suited to the physical run out the clock, no-Josh Allen leaps for five yards 😉, he’s a guy who thrives on trying to juke or cutback to get to the edge or a gap and off to the race. He cannot pound the ball up the middle when other teams know it’s coming (or even if they don’t, it’s not his skillset). In sharp contrast, as much as I chuckled at the Latavius Murray signing, watching him play yesterday and get those tough yards everyone knew we were going for (and a TD later) made me appreciate his value. Same thing goes for Damien Harris, more power. Now Dorsey needs to build on that foundation and we have a team capable of grinding out games we’re ahead and need to eat clock or the other games where we need physical running to open up Cook or PA passing (and with this schedule we’ll need to be physical can’t rely on Josh’s cape as much as I love to see him in action—he’s playing Russian Roulette). Proof to us all that it’s a work in progress, patience grasshopper!!
  16. When I think of Bills/Raiders, I’m too “young” at a mere 55 years old to go back to the AFL days like some of you are fortunate to be able to do. But, I can go back to the glorious ‘90-‘91 season AFC championship game and the 51-3 whooping we put on the “Autumn Wind is a Raider” legacy. The only realistic hope I have now is not to end the game with a sore throat from yelling at the TV and needing 2mg of Xanax to calm down. Go Bills!!
  17. They’re scanning the field and going through their progressions. That’s an innate talent. As much as I love Josh, he just doesn’t seem to have that skillset. Sort of like how he’s not close to elite at “touch passes”—just has that fantastic cannon but that’s not the way to throw the majority of the routes/passes—great to squeeze a ball into tight spots but not great at all to lead a receiver open who has a step or two on the DB by giving them time to run open and ***** the pass.
  18. Not that I like to see players get injured but the only thing that might help us is if Rodgers is done. Once again, hate to say it but this game…
  19. Always gotta let teams stick around and turn a should win into a might lose.
  20. Her worth is only as good as long as the boys can cook and make $$$.

  21. It’s too bad I was excited when he fell to us in the draft. Hoped he had the potential to be a Warren Sapp/John Randle 3T. Just hasn’t come close to a top 10 pick. Wish he’d had a hulking Pat Williams or Ted Washington next to him at 1T when he arrived. Star not playing early on and not playing well when he did probably affected Oliver’s play. Regardless of playing out of position early on, it seems very clear that he’s not the guy McBeanr thought he was. He flashed later but he wasn’t nearly worthy of a 10th pick. Wish him the best.
  22. Maybe he’ll trade up for version two of Cody Ford.
  23. Too bad he never developed into the player we thought he’d be. I think the scheme didn’t fit his skill set and he seemed to lack the instinctual skills that separate the good players from the best.
