I’m all for upgrading the d line if we can. If our problem is beating the Chiefs though, I don’t think investing a lot more in the d line will matter much. Maybe a reallocation of salary resources would help though. They beat us with very quick passes and lots of YAC. The best d line in the league won’t stop that.

A few thoughts about the chiefs game, in no particular order

I agree completely about how we got out coached. Our receivers were playing injured which limited us. Mahomes was killing us with very quick passes with receivers getting YAC. Even with better D linemen we wouldn’t be able to stop him. -

NFL Network is replaying the game now if anyone wants a second look at it. -
This is the one weapon I want for our offense. He is the closest I’ve seen to a T Hill type player.

Dabolls play calling seemed very bland in this game. Would have liked to see McKenzie used more. They lost to the better team. Bills need more power on d line, speed on offense and a dynamic running back. Keep building the team....

Report: Daboll will remain with Bills in 2021

Great news for the team. I hope the Pegulas reward his loyalty. Hope he wants to “finish the job” here before moving on. -
CNN with Wolf Blitzer just did a short piece with Coy Wire and Pinto Ron mentioning the Mafia has donated over 200k so far. Way to go!

A Few Thoughts About the Ravens Game, in no particular order

“the ice in Allen's veins makes the cold air seem like a warm ocean breeze.“ That is a fantastic line man! Love your write ups. Thanks, -
I don’t understand the obsession some people have with trying to convince people that someone else will fail. Lamar is a talented guy with exceptional running ability and some limitations as a passer. He can still improve as Josh has. His talent will win them a lot of games. Their receiver routes are pretty basic in Romans offense too. The Bills defense was exceptional tonight. That is the story.
-
I still can’t believe we held Lamar to 9 rushes for 34 yds. The Bills D is the exception this year. Other teams haven’t been able to do that.

Unbelievable game by the D. I doubted if they could be that effective. They proved me wrong!

Why is Allen's improvement linked to Daboll?
Andy1 replied to Back2Buff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Daboll trains his brain. He has taught him how to read a defense and find the weakness. Now with Josh being an atheletic marvel, it’s easier to make Daboll look good than if our QB was less of an athlete. Daboll also designed an offense system around Josh that has proven to be successful. -
I also think Randall Cunningham belongs near the top of the list along with Elway. Randall was an incredible athlete but in that era, Buddy Ryan wanted to use him as a running QB. Josh has a better developed arm talent but this is the era of passing offense. If you are too young to remember Cunningham, look up some video highlights of him. Hard to say who was most athletic but I don’t think anyone has been measurably more athletic than Josh considering arm talent, size and legs.

Game Balls - Fish v. Bills Week 17

There’s all the obvious ones but don’t forget the O line. Josh had a lot of time today. Hard to pick just a few since the entire team is dialed in now. -
It feels like this team is on a mission to hold the trophy this year. They know they are good and they are out to prove it. The confidence of Allen and Diggs has infected the entire team. They remember last year and want to erase that bitter taste in their mouths. They don’t care who is in the way. They don’t care about previous teams failures. This is their time. They will not be stopped. What a joy to watch.
-
Daboll’s role has been to train the brain. He is teaching Josh how to read defenses as well as designing an offense to use his skill set. Palmer has worked on the mechanics.
-
He deserves this more than anyone!

“Look at that hose” a great quote that will be remembered. 😂
