  1. Trump’s hold on the party seems to be melting. If he has lost Ann Coulter, maybe he better rethink his announcement next week.
  2. You are right about their turnout. However, the young people that I know who vote really do care about the issues. They have strong concerns about abortion access, climate change, gay marriage and social inequality issues. Gen Z is the future of America and their voting power is growing.
  3. This issue has clearly become an anchor for republicans and a galvanizing issue for dems. For decades republicans fought to overturn Roe. The religious right is a core part of the R party with many/most of them singularly focused on banning all abortions. It will be interesting to see what the party does to appear more reasonable to voters on this issue. Between the abortion issue and their Trump problem, they have a lot of internal evaluation to do.
  4. Sometimes this stuff gets a bit confusing for me. In the end, I don’t care, there are bigger problems in the world. A lot of times, I think the parents are more upset about the trans teen than their peers are.
  5. Well, people last night voted to affirm abortion rights in all states where it was on the ballot. Voters in KY, MI, VT, CA & MT chose to protect womens rights. That is about as diverse a group of states as you could choose. It is pretty clear now how most Americans feel about this issue. I would expect Democrats to push to get this issue on ballots in other states in future elections.
  6. This is exactly the problem with American politics today and is why our political system has become dysfunctional. Social media has fueled much of the demonization of “those on the other team”. Too many people go down the worm hole resulting in ruined friendships, families, etc. In the end, we are all Americans who have different opinions on issues. No different than the differences Americans debated during our grandparents time. We are all just trying to get by and raise our kids in this changing world. To call the other side the enemy is to call your neighbor, kids, or relatives who think different than you, the enemy. Who wants to live in that miserable world? Not me. Life is too short.
  7. Nye County NV is hand counting thousands and thousands of ballots because election-conspiracy believing officials got rid of the ballot tabulating machines. https://www.fox5vegas.com/2022/11/09/nye-county-resume-controversial-hand-count-ballots-thursday/
  8. The owner of Indy is going all tank mode again to find another Manning or Luck in the draft. That’s his MO. Hines is probably happy he got out when he did.
  9. Gods choice apparently….
  10. So the Republican Party pushes the lie. Fox entertainment pushes it nonstop. Their gullible followers eat it up. Some poor suckers end up losing their jobs, fracturing their families, going to prison or even dying for acting on the lie. All to please the orange god king.
  11. That last throw by Josh was perfect. Hopefully, that is a sign that there was no serious damage to his arm. Gabe is an enigma. He can be great, or not.
  12. I agree. I think he has been underperforming this year. His production seems off from last year.
  13. This game was like gastric reflex when you taste your own vomit. That’s my real feeling about this one.
  14. Just burn the memory of this game. Hopefully Josh’s right arm is not injured.
  15. His presence was sorely missed. We have no replacement for him.
  16. What, are they waiting for a ladder or lift to take down the sky cam?
  17. With as good as Josh is, I agree. It would be nice to get started on their quest to win the last game. Brady had an 18 year window. Stability in coaching and front office will be key to keeping the window open.
  18. After listening to his presser, he sounds like a great guy. Intelligent and process oriented and ready to contribute. That story about Dion finding his pendant was cool and now Dion might be opening up holes to spring him loose. I’m looking forward to seeing him in this offense. I know I’ll be screaming Go Hines Go!
  19. I have t read through all 35 pages but this move gives Cook time to develop while the team gets a similar skill sets in a proven vet. Also, I’m sure Bean likes his punt return ability. We want a veteran in that position too. Who knows how the RB room shakes out in the future. A lot will happen between now and then. This is a move for this year.
  20. This guy looks like he is working on his testicular tanning.
  21. He is one guy we can’t replace on the defense. He does so much so well.
