  1. Trump is a Loser again today in court. Every time he goes to court, he winds up losing. He lost 34 times today. Multiple juries, multiple judges, multiple cases. Everyone around Trump loses and spends time in the clink. Republicans would be so far ahead if they turned the page on him and moved on to someone else to lead their flock of sheep.
  2. If there is a tech solution to spot marking the ball I’m for it. Remove the subjective parts to eliminate ref bias or ineptitude and opportunity to fix game results. One less thing to argue about.
  3. The legend of Josh Allen keeps growing… even in the off season. Decades from now stories will be told about him to young Bills fans.
  4. They a bit koo-koo too. These mass petitions for people to be ousted from their jobs when they have an opinion that differs from yours is stupid. It’s happening now to these university presidents who are enforcing civility on their campuses. America is the most diverse nation on this planet. All sides of every spectrum of every issue are present here. This is all a grand experiment by the founders of this nation. If this nation is going to survive, we all need to figure out how to live with each other. That begins with tolerating others who might think a bit different on an issue than you do. Everyone needs a bit thicker skin and calmer mind and not be so offended by others. Social media is the worst triggering people to be offended at stupid stuff. It’s a free country. We have choices. If you don’t like the kicker, don’t watch the team. If you don’t like the colleges investments, pick a different school to go to. But people shouldn’t be calling for others to lose their job just because of their opinion. That doesn’t mean that you can’t lose your job if you say something stupid.
  5. Yea, I was thinking about Oliver. It just makes me laugh the psychology of it all. But hey, however they want to spend their money is fine by me. Go buy more red hats.
  6. Good point. I forgot about that one but don’t remember any other examples.
  7. The other completely predictable thing about this story is some white guy gets publicity for his anti woke opinion and instantly becomes the best selling whatever as all the cultural conservatives rush to buy whatever to show off their support. I think it’s just weird but predictable mass psychology of conservatives. On the opposite side of the political spectrum, no one can agree on anything.
  8. This story is the dumbest noncontroversy. If drag queens can be celebrated, what’s wrong with Butker expressing his viewpoint? Free speech for all. Personally I think he went a bit too far in his opinions but I defend his right to say them. Diversity of opinion is the American way. As long as he is not promoting violence, we should be supporting tolerance of other opinions, even if we disagree with them.
  9. Sure. And if Biden doesn’t win, we B word and moan for four years and then vote again in free and fair elections. That’s the American way. Only one party seems committed to that way now though.
  10. This country is so evenly divided, only a few states are going to decide the election. And in those states, the undecided, uninformed voters, those who don’t pay attention to the issues, those most susceptible to misinformation are going to decide those states and the outcome of the election. That’s where we are at.
  11. I’m not a fan of the process, I’m just saying it’s been happening forever. When this country began the government gave huge tracts of land to the wealthy. Counties give tax breaks to developers to corporations to build malls, stadiums, etc. Feds have given billions for decades to oil, gas and agricultural corporations. The tax code is written to favor the corporations/wealthy. Republican mantra of tax breaks for the wealthy and Trickle Down economics. Everything about America favors/helps the wealthy. The working class are there to support them, unless they can be replaced for cheaper labor or robots.
  12. I believe that’s what America calls capitalism. Government giveaways to the wealthy has been happening here since the beginning of the country. At least the Chips act is to get domestic manufacturing and jobs for an industry critical for national security.
  13. Ok, so should I be concerned? Any big company has shareholders owned by someone. I don’t get your point.
  14. Micron is an American company based in Idaho.
  15. Micron is going to be huge in Syracuse and wouldn’t have happened without Biden’s Chips act. As far as complaining about giving away money, just research how much the government has given to the fossil fuel industry or agriculture. Computer chips are just as important in today’s world. Otherwise we will continue to depend on Taiwan who face an uncertain future given the threat from China.
  16. So Trumps attorney today introduced the topic of whether or not Trump was an “orange turd” 💩 as Stormy mentioned in a message, responding after someone called her a “human toilet”. This is where Trumps choices in life has lead him. To this court room, listening to himself being referred to by his own attorney as the Orange Turd. Some nicknames you just can’t forget.
  17. This is it. Bean sees how DBs are not getting penalties for playing grabby, physical play style in the playoffs. This is what KC does all the time. Starting with Kincaid, and now Coleman and Claypool, he is getting us bigger players who can play through that.
  18. Thats amazing stuff there. Some guys are just born with a double dose of athleticism and that’s him. It really shows his elite body control, on the ground or in the air and eye hand coordination. I really really hope he can develop into a great receiver for the Bills. He has the potential of providing fans A+ entertainment value on and off the field.
  19. Keon looks like the type of receiver who can function in crappy weather that may impact pass accuracy. He’s also physical enough so hopefully he can play through contact in the post season when the refs swallow their whistles and don’t call PI on grabby defenders - like what KC usually does. His one-handed catches seem so casual.
  20. So these students want their universities to divest from any connections with Israel. So I guess they don’t care about the Chinese persecution of the Uyghurs. Otherwise they should all dump and destroy their cell phones made in China. It’s all selective outrage against Israel.
  21. A common demand of these students is for their university to divest from any financial ties to Israel. Why do students think they have the authority to demand how a university chooses to invest? If they are morally distraught and don’t like the financial profile of their university, they are free to choose a different school. It’s important to remember, the protesters are a small fraction of the students enrolled at these universities. At minimum, they should suspend them all, give them incompletes for their courses. The worst offenders should be expelled and make them reapply if they want to continue to attend. There are many ways to express one’s opinion on the war without violating university policies. Columbia needs to bring in the NYPD and prosecute them.
