  1. Did Brian Brohm take snaps from Eric Wood at Louisville? How much did their college careers there overlap? They're roommates in Buffalo, if I remember correctly.
  2. Ugh, "Hail to the Redskins"... I remember hearing that damn song a lot back in '92 .
  3. I've talked to some non-Bills fans, and they would rather have their team miss the playoffs for 10 years than lose four straight Super Bowls. I think that's nuts.
  4. 1986 6 146 Mark Rypien Grr, *seeth*
  5. Imagine if Lofton could have just picked up a little more speed on that long deflected pass that set up a first and goal early in XXV. "It's deflected, and CAUGHT by Lofton! He surges and strides, lunges into the endzone for the TOUCHDOWN! Seven nothing BUFFALO!" - my fantasy Super Bowl XXV Van Miller call. Or if Kelly's pass lead him just a little bit more to hit him over the shoulder instead of being deflected. Or if ONE player on the Bills defense could just tackle Mark Ingram on a 3rd and long dump-off. I still remember watching that game and hearing Dan Dierdorff's call "This game is starting out very nicely if you are a fan of the New York Giants."
  6. Wow. Spiller has some of the most impressive highlight videos I've seen on Youtube. If he can continue this kind of performance in the NFL, this was a fantastic pick. Spent my whole lunch hour watching Spiller highlights; and there are a lot of them! The Bills need to add some beef now, on both lines. I'm OK with Edwards or Brohm as quarterback for now. With more weapons and a better offensive line, maybe they can get it done.
  7. Pat Angerer, too. Perfect name for a linebacker... You wouldn't like him when he gets "Angerer"...
  8. The article mentions Sam Wyche as one of the people he's working with. Hopefully he helps Tebow more than he helped Losman...
  9. I forgot how mobile Kelly was... He really could move around in the pocket as he sensed the pressure to give himself more time. He was never a scrambler, but he was pretty elusive in the pocket.
  10. I remember a play during Super Bowl XXVI against the Redskins. Kelso had one of the 'Skins receivers (Monk, Sanders?) perfectly covered; he was right on him. But somehow Ripen threads the needle, and gets a first down. There was no way the Bills were going to win that game... The 'Skins were just on fire that whole season.
  11. Jason Smith on ESPN radio early this morning was on tirade about how Shanahan would never go to Buffalo, and that the very idea is laughable. It was quite the nasty rant, but he made all the usual points about Ralph's age, the fact that the team probably won't be around much longer, and that it's a small unattractive market. Hopefully Smith is wrong, and Ralph's money talks... Who knows? The Bills are still an NFL franchise. Anyway, I now consider Jason Smith a "bad guy" whose name will appear in red!
  12. Heh, that was great!
  13. I've always like the Saints. Cool uniforms and a fellow long-suffering fanbase; and I have lots of family in 'Nawlins. You'd think Saints fans would be humble though, after the futility that franchise has experienced throughout the years. Of course, new-found success can be like an adrenaline charge...
  14. We're about to go "1 for the 00's" to the Pats. Have we beaten the Pats this decade, besides the 31-0 home opener in I believe '03?
