We are now at, where we feared we would be
Cornerville replied to daquix's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Also make sure the Bills new RB can resist plugging other 'holes' and create rather then procreate -
Here is the truth of the matter: The media KNOWS and abolsutely LOVES making fun of the Buffalo Bills and the city of Buffalo. And I would bet a good amount of cash that these people in the media who love this, egg on the players in interviews because they KNOW it drives Buffalo natives, Buffalo Bills fans, and former Buffalo residents absolutely NUTS. ESPN has definately bought into this, and most of the time, we all fall for the bait at one point or another. Tools like Trey Wingo make smart ass comments about Buffalo...commericals they have had make fun of Buffalo...Colin Cownerd IMO will go out of his way to ignore Buffalo or make bad comments just to stir the pot...and of course, fans fall for the bait OVER AND OVER. Here is a tip: IGNORE THESE IDIOTS. Don't fall for the bait. Who cares what they say anyway. Silence would be the best thing said against idiots on ESPN.

Good post and do not spoil the anti Kobe crusade with facts about shooting percentage...hey, when Jordan scored 55 he racked up the assists too, he NEVER shot the ball too much, right? -
Sabres vs Capitals game thread

A win tonight all but seals off the 1 seed...big game..would be nice to salt away the 1 seed and allow the Sabres to rest Miller, get guys back healthy etc... -

Haley is so hot...im sure that outfit reeled her in some votes.. I really think Jordin Sparks is going to win this competition....she has the Idol look to her....and not to mention she has a lot of talent.... Predicted Order of Finish: 1. Jordin Sparks- Her name itself is a catchy one, and will sell CD's instantly 2. Blake Lewis- Unique to the show, Bo Bice-esque if you will, that will carry him to the Finals. 3. Melinda Doolittle- She already has made a name for herself, and she is the best pure singer, but she does not need to win this competition to suceed, plus, isn't she a singer anyway (backup)? 4. Lakisha Jones- Her and Dooittle will split votes, a la Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, and some other girl a couple of years ago, and it will cost her. 5. Haley Scarnato- Looks will carry her for awhile. 6. Chris Sligh- Can he also earn a backup role in Lost? He is good, but not Top 4 good. 7. Phil Stacey- Bald head will help him with being unique, similar to gray haired Hicks, but IMO he will start to lose votes at this point. 8. Stephanie Edwards- Nice girl, good voice, but she does not stand out. 9. Sanjaya Malakar- Believe it or not, I can see him going higher. he is getting like the Rory Fitzpatrick for the NHL All Star Game status...he is so bad that people will vote for him...but trust me, NO way does Idol allow him to win, they will rig the vote before killing the show. 10. Chris Richardson- He is fading fast, will barely hang on. 11. Gina Glocksen- Nothing about her performance was good.

Our Sabres seem to have hit a major roadblock
Cornerville replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
You make some very good points, but here are some other factors that make this team feel different this year then last year: 1. Last year the Sabres started out 8-9-0-1 and were in last place. Then the Sabres were basically on FIRE the rest of the season, exclusing that 2 week stretch, they were the best team in the NHL after Thanksgiving, and arguably, the entire year, until the injury big killed the Sabres chances of advancing to the SC Finals. 2. This year, the Sabres were the best team in the NHL bar none BEFORE Thanksgiving. The Sabres were 20-3-1 at one point. If you do the math from that point on, yes the Sabres still have an above average record since the 20-3-1 start, but the Sabres clearly have not been as dominant consistently this year over the same stretch as to compared to last year. 3. The Sabres defence IMO was better last year, I really do believe the Sabres defence misses a physical and shot blocking presence like a Jay McKee. 4. Expectations: Last year was a magical ride, a almost care-free run in a sense. This year the expectations have been stanley cup or bust from the onset. Especially when you consider that Drury and Briere are UFA's. This might be our best chance ever. Can the Sabres win it all? No question about it!! But, right or wrong on my part, I felt slightly more confident last year. Maybe it is because we are now more the hunted then the hunter, who knows. -

1. People who are in front of you at a supermarket, who put their stuff on the belt...and as soon as you start putting your stuff on there, they slowly push their stuff a little further up, and discretely grab the divider., almost as of they are saying " I am protecting MY Stuff, get away!”. LADY, I AM NOT GOING TO ATTACK YOUR GROCERIES!!! 2. ATM Customers who press 50+ buttons and take several minutes. It is am ATM machine, get your f'in cash and move on! 3. Customers at a convenience store who have 75 different Pick 3 and Pick 4 combinations to play, straight or box, and after waiting for these tools, they say oh, can I get some scratch offs...1-800-GAMBLER -
Long Island Phil was anothe classic...the thread where we were making fun of Long Island was one of the best ever...and GBuffalo's comments had me rolling!
