AWESOME post Tipster!!!! You know what makes Bills fans great? That on May 2nd, a Bills fan can make a post like this, with reflections on the past and showing tons of emotion. To me that is what being a Buffalo Bills fan is all about. I personally was not born in Buffalo, but my father was, and my Dad and I enjoy a strong bond, in part because of the passion we both have for the Buffalo Bills. It is boards like this that make being a Bills fan special. I personally met some people from this board and there are some damn good people on this board. And even those I have not met in person, I almost feel like I know some of you in some way.

HAHAHAHA Listen to this beauties: Obviously, Charles Rogers will give Joey Harrington a great target for the next decade. Despite bad mechanics, QB Byron Leftwich is the franchise future. WR Tyrone Calico was a great pick in the second round. I think Carson Palmer will be a bust. Trading up to take DT Dewayne Robertson with the fourth pick was an outstanding move. They wasted one of their fourth round picks on CB Terrence McGee. OLB Nick Barnett is a good player, but he was a reach in round one. WR Andre Johnson will catch passes from David Carr for a long time. RB Lee Suggs will be a good backup for William Green. And my favorite: 2nd and 3rd round picks were duds: DE Osi Umenyiora and TE Vashante Shicarore should have TV and radio announcers baffled for years. <_< :lol:

If you look at the history of the Bills, Tight End is not a position where the Bills have had playmakers. Sure, Keith McKeller was a good TE for a stretch, and Metzellars was a solid TE but unspectacular. Everett was drafted in the 3rd round, but even when he was drafted, he did not have a grade like a Olsen, Shockey, Vernon Davis, etc. Perhaps this can be attributed to the person who is really in the ear of management for the draft? Ralph. Maybe Ralph has an issue with drafting TE's high in the draft? Whatever that may be, I was disappointed in Day 2, was hoping for a slight trade up to get a guy like Rucker.

Very solid day for the Bills so far. Now say trade up and let's get Fred Davis
