  1. I think the difference is that the SB era teams had a ton of pride and held each other accountable for poor play, right when it happened. I remember Kelly grabbing house ballard by the face mask and pulling down so they were face to face and kelly screaming at him. Can you imagine for one moment any Bills player on the current roster doing that? Allen maybe? What I see here is a team with the strength and fortitude, physical and mental, of single ply toilet paper. I'm laughing with my jets fan friend in text right now over which team wants this next game less. The Jets want to be careful not to risk their shot at Trevor, while the Bills feel like they need to prove that they have a historically bad run D. They're probably plotting ways to let Frank Gore have a huge day as a feel good story. Maybe the Jets can set a modern NFL record by not throwing a single pass yet amassing 600 yards of Offense
  2. It's a curiously timed decision, but I will say that Tua has made a living off of the broken play offense. If I were the Rams I think i'd try to contain him rather than let him run wild
  3. Good lord. Unfortunately, it seems that the Bills are turning into the sort of team that plays to the level of their opponent, unless it's a good opponent, then we roll over like docile puppies. 12.5 is a huge spread in a professional football game. The Bills are a really soft team this year. No doubt there's a ton of talent on O, but they're not going to impose their will on anyone, they're mentally weak, and now seem to be physically fragile as well. Where's Rusty Jones when we need him most? I'm going to have to resist temptation if the spread stays this high because i could very easily see us jumping out to a lead then letting the jets stay in the game and have it decided by a TD or less.
  4. you're right of course, but that just shows how this administration will ride their own bad ideas down to the bottom of the sea for the sake of pride. Why not bring the guy on, vet min, short leash. I honestly cant see him being any worse than the current crew of effete pretenders
  5. quick, package them both up and send them to the Jets for Quinnen Williams, a mid round pick, and bag of balls. Get it done before they change the FO there
  6. I'll meet you halfway. The Bills recover the ball, then run Singletary into the middle of the line for zero yards, then run Singletary right, oops got nailed in the backfield for 3 yard loss, 3rd down broken play Allen runs for 12, then 4th down Allen attempts a sneak but OL is immediately pushed 4 yards into backfield, turnover on downs. And yes, i'd have deep concerns because right now this team looks like they would lose to an inspired elementary school flag football outfit
  7. Yeah, "Business Decisions" my azz. My business decision would be to bench him and put Yeldon in
  8. It really is hard to watch. Just knowing that every drive by the other team will be the death by 1000 papercuts. Nobody is going to bother passing against the Bills. Just ram the ball down our throats and win the ToP game 2:1 and watch us run run pass punt 3 and out.
  9. Aikman can badmouth Allen all he likes. If Allen doesn't like it, maybe he should stop laying turds against good teams. Aikman sure as hell didnt turn small in big games. I say that as an Allen fan, but we shouldnt be butthurt when pundits savage the Bills. They've looked like hot garbage the last 2 weeks. The worst thing would be a regression back to the Bills teams of a few years ago that show big against bad teams, and small against good teams. It's a recipe for sneaking into the playoffs and getting wrecked in the first round.
  10. for real. For the guy who was going to run through people and be thunder to Singletary's lightning, he looks more like a low end frank gore
  11. Meh, he hasnt been a difference maker, and his personal foul last night was completely classless. What a dbag move. Sore loser who looked like a fool.
  12. Lets not put the Jets game in the win column yet. Waiting to see Frank Gore drop 200 on them
  13. He saw a bee and several of his bones broke in terror, tough break
  14. I never claimed to know anything about sports injury but if the defense of Harrison is "well he was injured 13 months ago, he may never get better!" then yeah we should probably be looking elsewhere.
  15. Oh, agreed 100%. and if it makes KC rethink their plan at all based on the move then there's more value in this move then simply getting dead weight off the field. I was yelling at the TV last week watching Murphy getting blown 10 yards off every play. Hell i would go in there and do that for half his salary
  16. 100% guaranteeing that KC will run strait up the middle all night long
  17. They just dont have a personality. Unless 'Generic underwhelming and non-physical defense that bends then breaks' is a personality Just remember that tonight is not the season
  18. Honorable Harry. Maybe we should grant him some sort of ambassadorship and find someone to play DT
  19. one of us did!
  20. yeah the bills should definitely sign the recently released, former pro bowl LBs and DTs that are just littering the ground out there. Galaxy brain take there, forums user Joe in Winslow
  21. Yeah agreed. I wish we'd see a little more of yeldon, especially receiving out of the backfield
  22. porque no los tres?
