  1. we could trade all of our receivers to them to play DB, they drop everything
  2. lol, i am trading texts with a buddy of mine who is a huge jets fan, saying pretty much the same thing. Darnold has been getting killed and even the chance of him losing to the Bills (who may benefit from recent rule changes in the NFL allowing for the forward pass) would be too much to bear
  3. make other, more interesting, plans for Sunday, like perhaps curling your hair or watching paint dry
  4. since our D is on the field like 80% of any given game, so yeah, it makes complete sense to give it help since the offense barely even sees the field, why invest in it. Hello I am a big dumb idiot and I like to clap when my team gets penalties against them
  5. it would be my first question in interviewing perspective coaches, "What week of the NFL season do you think it generally starts to snow in Buffalo?" and if they answer anything lower than 15, push the eject button under the desk. the second question would be "do you believe it's possible to throw a regulation football when it is below 32 degrees?"
  6. yup, leadership hires people who have never actually been to Buffalo and can only muster images of the blizzard of 77, so they come in with an unshakable notion that the only way to win in Buffalo is with a Neanderthal offense centered around 1 yard and a cloud of dust
  7. Nobody on the team is going to work harder than Wallace. This is a good move.
  8. i said it in another thread but the sort of offensive innovation that I'd expect from McDermott is a multiple punter formation, that comes in on 3rd down
  9. also, more controversy around why the Bills didn't sign Colin Kaepernick. The Bills front office is sure to handle this with grace and aplomb, leaving all feeling satisfied that the decision was reached in an organic fashion
  10. more punting on 4th and inches at the other team's 40 yard line. no, scratch that, I want them to punt on 3rd down. maybe when bojorkez or whatever comes back they can employ multiple punter formations, it's the exact sort of offensive innovation that i'd expect by McMoron i also want to see more vigorous clapping after every penalty and negative play. I'm yearning for it in fact more street free agents. i mean they could do worse, like they are currently. don't tell me there aren't hundreds if not thousands of al bundys and uncle ricos in WNY that would give anything to have one more shot. maybe get that rudy guy from notre dame, that would be a great story
  11. The turd is not a metaphor
  12. Yeah, I mean, the Bills are the Graveyard of Quarterbacks. We could have the lovechild of Joe Montana and Tom Brady at QB and Coach Clappy McIdiot would get extra clever and put a bunch of high school players around him just to show the league how much smarter he is than everyone else. I know nobody wants to hear this but watch the draft next year, I will virtually guarantee that with our top pick we go either DL or a high motor project LB, or a CB. I just dont think this regime has the mindset to 'waste' high draft picks on O. also, in FA, we'll absolutely find another 3 or 4 trent murphys to keep the trainers busy to make sure we soak up the spare cap money, without actually making the team better
  13. agreed! also, i am just generally sick and tired of the Bills having a terrible O. When is the last time the Bills O struck fear into anyone? What, Bledsoe's first 5 games? Kids born that year are getting their drivers licenses this year. Why can't the Bills field a competent O?
  14. agreed on all counts. The pessimist in me looks at the remaining schedule and only sees more bad news. Next week will be a get-well game for the Jets, and on down the line. Sure, the Bills could show up to play on any given sunday, maybe forget all the culture/process nonsense that our big dumb idiot coach is forcing down their throats, get some lucky bounces and/or mercy from the refs and squeeze out a win, but the much more likely scenario is the one where the bills continue to spiral downward, perhaps to break all time futility records? it certainly seems within reach, and dovetails nicely with what we've seen of the process so far!
  15. https://www.footballdb.com/stats/penalties.html yeah, another site that I just closed the tab for showed trending too, which the Bills, if they keep up the last 3 games performance, will be league leading in penalties in another game or two. The net is, they're undisciplined, and getting more undisciplined as the season goes on, which again, is indicative of coaching, and/or a team that has given up. Let me blow your mind here for a moment, what if the process, is in fact fundamentally flawed, and if followed close to plan, actually makes the Bills worse?
  16. we're 3rd worst in the league for penalties, so i'm not sure the math works on that, but yeah, it's not as bad as under rex, in the same analogized fashion that technically hitler killed fewer people than stalin
  17. I always enjoy reading your post mortem game analysis, but have to quibble with you here. This team has been sloppy as hell all season. The drive killing penalties are more reliable than completed forward passes at this point, all of which is 100% on coaching. Obviously The Clapping Idiot has not made discipline a priority, and I think now it's safe to assume that discipline isn't part of the "culture" he's trying to build at one bills drive, otherwise we'd see players getting benched for their junior league antics, but instead we get a big dumb idiot clapping on the sidelines when instead of a 1st down, we get 3rd and 20
  18. Just the mere fact is probably enough to defeat the bills
  19. maybe if they were playing the Natick High School JV team there. only maybe though
  20. Did McHalfwit clap vigorously when Teller came off the field? That's usually a sign
  21. Thank you for weighing in, Sean McDermott's mom
  22. let's cut to the chase here folks. we all know that McDumbass is going to demand we resign KB for 5 years, $100m. anything other than that would be an admission that it was a bad move to start with, and clappy McShortbus cannot fail, he can only be failed
  23. Yup, "process" is a way to deflect criticism of him, and the fact that the team is completely unprepared week after week, and completely lacking in discipline. Someone will have to show me where being the 3rd most penalized team in the NFL is indicative of a winning 'culture' or shows that there's a process in place to get better. If the Bills were coming out each week and playing disciplined football but losing games because they're outmanned in every conceivable way, it would be one thing. The reality is that with this coach we could have the most talented team in the league but would consistently shoot themselves in the foot because they lack discipline, and that's 100% coaching.
  24. That's not what Wayne is saying at all. There doesn't have to be a conspiracy going on in the background in order for the Pegulas to have made bad hires. I mean, the evidence is pretty strong to suggest that they aren't good at this, and have been taken in by grifters again and again. Even given the cap situation, which was clearly mismanaged by granting ridiculous contracts to players who have not earned them, the current regime continues to make terrible decisions that have nothing to do with the cap.
