PHI Eagles projected to be $40+M over the cap in 2021
dorquemada replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
wow I just looked at that link you posted, that is absolutely crazy. I'm not sure any of those players are worth what they're getting there -

Lol, that's a feature not a bug in Boston. -

SI Article: forget about sports this year
dorquemada replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would be easier to forget about Sports Illustrated instead. I'd pretty much already done that in fact in all seriousness, SI seems to have become a publication that doesn't like sports very much -
Beane Draft Day Aggression - Trade up for Delpit
dorquemada replied to Mark80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've had a feeling that BB was going to go secondary in the 2nd round. If he can trade up for this guy, great. I'd rather get a premium talent and fewer overall picks than camp fodder -
I'm gonna brave BJ's in Schenectady after work today. I haven't left the house beyond walking in the neighborhood in 2+ weeks now. We're not out of anything critical yet but I really want to put a shoulder on the smoker, jonesing for some pulled pork.

Let's see what it would take to get Andy Dalton.
dorquemada replied to Oregonbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. If JA were to get injured and be out for a few games, there's no way that Borkley is going to carry them. If the price is right I'd love to see Dalton in a Bills uni -
Bills given A- for offseason moves so far...Yahoo Sports
dorquemada replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People play Madden then think they can pull off nonsense trades IRL. Yeah, I got Patrick Mahomes for my 3rd string RB and JJ Watt just because I asked nice -
as discussed here, Beane's strategy seems to be more utility infielders, fewer designated hitters. Let's see how it plays out because so far i like that there's not too many positions where the backup is a big dropoff from starter

i like how murphy came on at the end of the season but he has a huge head (i mean, like an actual enlarged head) and seems too narrow to be a DL player. It absolutely ruins my immersion on the other hand, didn't he say something about 'playing north of the wall' when he was signed? if true he should retire a bill

Bills resign Spencer Long, Foster, and Levi
dorquemada replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did you watch the pro bowl? Roberts looked good. He had a TD and was open most plays, far in excess of what we normally saw from him in his limited opportunities to play WR during the regular season. If you find this shocking, or controversial, perhaps it's time to find a new hobby -
Bills resign Spencer Long, Foster, and Levi
dorquemada replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Clearly he can read, he just insists on deriving the opposite conclusion from what the words clearly state. It's a very cursed condition known as being a contrarian rabbit. I have much experience dealing with people having this condition as I raised 2 children -

Sorry about your reading disability -

So I think that was the conventional wisdom but he looked like edelman at the pro bowl. Before anyone starts with their well rehearsed zingers about the pro bowl not being like a regular game, i think the larger point is that he can obviously get open and catch the ball. I think maybe I'd like to see a little more of him at WR? Wasn't he fighting injuries all year? But to your point it does seem that even when healthy he wasn't in much. -
Jets Releasing Trumaine Johnson

I don't think he'd be able to help you there -

Perhaps CB is just a young man's game -
Would you trade for Fournette?
dorquemada replied to WideRightRevenge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is my take too. Fournette has been stuck on a poorly coached team for his first 3 years. I think he could be great in the Bills O -
Sunday Ticket monopoly may be ending......
dorquemada replied to Seasons1992's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's fine. People want everything for free now. I get it that people are mad about customer service but I'm not sure outside an outage why you would be on with them very much. I do everything on the website, i think i've spoken to them twice in 20 years -

you could pretty much set your clock to atomic accuracy by going in the opposite direction of Mel Kiper -

I'm thinking a high motor DE or the 3rd best CB in the draft
