  1. So you better be prepared to cut a bunch of other people too. Let's create a twitter army and go through every tweet by every player and any sign that they ever engaged in any kind of wrongthink, they must be cut immediately. Maybe send them to jail too because we can never be too pure as a people.
  2. Yeah so now we also have to get rid of Allen. I mean what he said was 10x worse. Fromm stated an existing reality, which is only elite white people can get silencers. I mean anyone can but not too many have the money and patience, not to mention ability to wade through the considerable process and paperwork to get a silencer. I'd love to get one myself so I dont bother the neighbors when I shoot, but there's no way i'm going through all that. Letting the crybullies run things is going to suck. Let's have a society where we're constantly tattling on each other and the punishment for wrongthink is the gulag. What could possibly go wrong?
  3. No, you see, because a rookie didn't play like a vet all pro, we have to get rid of him because having nobody is better than having a guy that played solid C+ ball and has lots of room to grow. In fact, we should trade him and next year's 1st round pick to somebody for a journeyman WR just to seal the deal
  4. I really don't get the Ford hate. You guys would have gotten rid of House Ballard after his rookie year too I expect
  5. If anyone can pull any of that off it would be Beane, but Foster & McKenzie in particular are legends in Buffalo only. There's a hundred guys like them bagging groceries
  6. Tua is sure to be a terror to the AFCE sitting on IR. That dude takes 1 hit from an NFL DE and his hip will snap like a dry twig. I say that as a huge Alabama fan too. Maybe Orlovsky thinks that Tua is so talented that even from the bench he'll make Miami better. It's an aspirational take, but probably not going to survive contact with reality
  7. With advanced video analytics platforms you can decide exactly what threshold you want for penalties. things like holding, neutral zone infractions, etc, you could dial it in and end up with the same amount of penalties as today, but rather than some significant fraction of them being BS, each would be a clear cut violation of the rules. I work in this space and I'm telling you, it's gotten really good, and is getting better every day. There's plenty of existing footage to 'train' the systems with, and we know what a good call is versus a bad call. edit: defensive pass interference would be a perfect example of what could be made right with AI and Video Analytics
  8. It's a great idea. and with advances in video analytics, we're 1 step away from being able to go full blast AI for officiating. 8k cameras from multiple angles plus some computing power, you could in realtime build a 3d model of every single play and examine it from every possible angle. The officiating in the NFL has been so terrible for so long, and with major outcome effecting mistakes in playoff games, the NFL really needs to fix this
  9. hachi machi that's a lotta dough for Dak. And I like him, i'm just not sure how they field a competitive team with all the silly contracts they're handing out
  10. That was the first game that 10 year old Dorquemada took intense interest in, i still remember Fergy on that wrecked ankle gutting it out. That dude was tough as nails but even then I was wincing watching him every time he dropped back. Anyway, Rest In Peace Ben Williams. He was a consummate pro, and by all account a good person too
  11. The defense introduces one Rex Ryan into evidence
  12. The only way to get this 2 decade old albatross from around our necks is for the Bills to beat the Pats. And not just squeak by in the last minute, but a start to finish physical domination and win by 3+ scores
  13. Because they serve a pretty big market, have been good for a really long time, and are a team that people either hate, or perhaps if there is something wrong with their brains, love. In either case the strong feelings will draw viewership. if they suck, we wont see 5 primetime games next year. If they are good, it'll be a super hyped storyline having said all that, the Bills need to take care of business, beat the Pats twice, and run away with the division and stop worrying about the media
  14. You know i'm not sure you got your money's worth out of your UB degree
  15. He'll have a couple good games early in the season then fade over the stretch, but still a good signing for them I think.
  16. It was alleged at the time (by my idiot teenaged peers and their drunk idiot dads) that Shula was the only coach on the Competition Committee so Dolphins always got away with cheating. I have no idea if any of it was true or not but kind of stinks of sour grapes
  17. A .658 career winning percentage! Wow! RIP coach. And to think they replaced him with the Pork Faced Satan
  18. Hey Mr Huff thank you for taking time out of your high level business meeting to let us know!
  19. Pats on line 1
  20. sometimes i wonder if ESPN reporters watch sports at all, or just are given a story line and make up whatever they like
  21. I dont want to come across as a Brady defender, but given how utterly dominant he's been over the Bills for 2 decades, I'd say even his worst on field antics were pretty reserved. Not even in the same league as what Jim Kelly did in his glory years. Plus, we threw a ***** on the field with his name on it so i'm not sure we as Bills fans even got the worst of the exchange. edit: sorry i posted the forbidden word
  22. at what point in the last 20 years did the Bills not deserve to be laughed at against the Pats? Maybe this last year? Or maybe when we sent maybin into coverage? or had everyone except the punter try to cover Gronk? Or maybe when Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb cooked up all sorts of exotic coverage packages, each less effective than the last? The Bills efforts were laughable.
  23. That's my take too. Cox played hard and ran his mouth, but it seems like he recalled the whole rivalry fondly later. It gave us all something to be mad at besides eachother. Also God please let my wife and son go back to work/school soon please
  24. Agreed on the good old days. Now that was a rivalry, complete with good guys and bad guys, characters all around, and a lot of great games. Everyone is so anodyne now, it's taken some of the fun out of it. Even Brady, who owned the Bills for 20 years spent more time praising them than making fun of them
  25. Goodwin as a $7m one year rental. That's the stuff
