  1. Great point. Signs them then forbids their proper use. Why do they even suit Samuel up on gameday if he's just going to get targeted 5 yards behind the LoS? It would literally be better for Allen to just throw the ball out of bounds.
  2. Yeah they're not firing McD. Im not sure what it'll take in fact, he seems to have the safest job in the NFL. I'd clap all the time too if I knew I could fail on my job and keep it
  3. are they?
  4. It's not that they lost 2 in a row, though that's certainly a consideration, it's that they looked flat as hell, slow, disinterested, and poorly coached. Like I said in another thread, it's like the Jags were their superbowl and now they're checked out. The Jets game will be telling. If the Bills come out with their 1960s style offense, and do their 3 and out dance for the first several drives, it's safe to say that the last 2 games are more representative of who they actually are than the first 3. They're not going to get to play Arizona and the Jags in the playoffs, and right now this team looks woefully overmatched vs KC. But hey, we'll get lots of clapping on the sidelines, maybe some entertaining nuggets from the locker room or off field as the wheels come off. It sure would suck if Diggs wasn't the cancer we've all been told he was, but it was someone else still on the team.
  5. Or the parallel rule, we can't hire anybody that we've heard of
  6. Yeah he bounced his head pretty hard off the carpet. I was surprised to see him back in. I find it pretty hard to believe he didn't have a concussion.
  7. Yeah that was great. Doesn't invalidate my point
  8. Our entire team look stuck in molasses.
  9. Yeah given what the Bills have shown the last 2 weeks against good teams, this is absolutely a must win. We look like a slightly better than average, but only slightly, team this year and if we don't pick up the wins we're supposed to get, we're not going to win the division or get a wildcard. Im not sure this version of the Bills have the mental toughness to fight through the coming schedule with a winning record. Lose to the jets, the wheels come off, and we see the worst version of them for the middle half of the schedule
  10. The Jets have everything to gain on this and basically nothing to lose. Lose the game? that was expected and they'll get better after a few weeks. Win the game? Wow great Saleh was the problem lets roll! The Bills can't come out flat like they have the last couple weeks. No cutesy play calling, no abject failures at clock and game management. I realize I may as well be asking to win the lottery given our current coaching staff but a boy can dream
  11. Jets lose Rogers 4 plays into a game and hold on to beat the bills as their defense plays inspired football Jets fire head coach and hold on to beat the bills on a series of inexplicable coaching errors by buffalo in the 4th quarter
  12. lol, i'm hearing yakkety sax play as the Bills run headlong into jets players just standing there and fumble the ball
  13. given how awful the play of the OL is we absolutely need knox in there. in fact if all we're going to do is run the ball and pass 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage why not just have 4 TEs in. QB/RB, 5xOL, 4xTE. It's the perfect formation to run the ball all day long which is what McD dreams of
  14. So what's the excuse du jour going to be here next week when the Jets beat the Bills? Well obviously we can't beat a team that just fired their head coach! That would be positively unsporting, and we know that above all coach McD wants to preserve the integrity and protect the shield at all costs! Basically if the Bills lose this game McD should be next. Not sure what has to happen before his seat warms up but I expect we're going to find out
  15. Too many terrible game day decisions and an utter inability to understand clock management will be his legacy. What could have been will be our memory of this era, and living through it, seeing it happen in realtime is excruciating.
  16. Absolutely hate the bubble screen. Always seems to develop so slowly. And they always seem to run it at the worst time. Honestly hoping dogballs doesn't make it on the Giants and we can get him back as OC
  17. We're clearly not as good as anyone. We're better than the worst, and nowhere near good as the best. WC round or division, take your pick
  18. The Bills need to focus like a laser on the Jets. If the Bills go into the game next week with the same pee wee game plan on O, the Jets DL is going to feast. In fact, if McD/Brady's plan is simply to do more of what's lost them the last 2 games, then it's absolutely a L and we're veering into lost season territory. Not because 6 games into the year is show over, but because that'll be going on a month where nothing is working and out coaching staff is fundamentally incapable of game planning, offensive creativity, or making a defensive stand when needed. Allen has had the Superman coached out of him, McDurrr has his boring run first offense, hates the downfield pass, so Allen has lost interest, and the entire team is reflecting that

  20. This is correct. If you've ever worked in a high performing organization, leadership are committed to continual improvement. Entire books have been written about it! When you work in organizations that are happy to get a gentleman's C, that's what you get. Steady as she goes, don't rock the boat because i still want to be able to sit in the suite at Madison Square Gardens and host customers, I really don't care what the share price is! Besides, constant improvement is hard and a lot of people don't like it. The Bills strike me as the latter type of organization. Anything can happen, a few lucky bounces and the Bills already would have made it to at least 1 superbowl so let's be very careful not to make any big changes.
  21. Because we all allowed ourselves to believe that the Bills were the team they looked like through the 2024 Super Bowl against the Jags. With that monkey off our backs, we can resume the programming as per expected with JV receivers, a bad and undisciplined OL, and a D that loves to give up big plays on 3rd and long. There's relief in experiencing what we expect to rather than to be surprised!
  22. Always Bills first but there are other teams I follow. I enjoy young up and coming teams that have a buzz around them. Detroit is a fun team. It's fun to have another team that you follow but aren't as emotionally invested in. I even bought a lions hat when I was in Detroit a few months ago for work.
  23. The Defense has let us down in every playoff loss
  24. OK, would you replace McD with Bill Belichick? Or is BB too mystery box for you?
