Sure, it starts with With that in mind, Pro Football Focus set out to rank the top 10 quarterbacks who we'd want to lead a franchise -- based on talent alone, and not their respective contract situations -- from the 2017-2021 NFL draft classes. lol i guess I should have stopped at PFF. but as a Bills fan I enjoy punishing myself, so I pushed on 1. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs 2. Trevor Lawrence, Clemson Tigers 3. Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans 4. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens 5. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals 6. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals 7. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills 8. Justin Fields, Ohio State Buckeyes 9. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers 10. Zach Wilson, BYU Cougars So the net here is out of the top 10 'franchise QBs' out of the last 4 years draft classes, 3 of them have yet to be drafted. About par for the course for PFF. I hear there's a good QB on some pop warner team outside Miami, i'm pretty sure we should declare him the greatest QB ever Agreed! Put him in the SEC, i'm sure he'll still be a very good college QB but the coronation might have gotten slowed down a bit

yeah there's an utterly ridiculous article on ESPN+ https://www.espn.com/nfl/insider/story/_/id/30343834/ranking-nfl-franchise-quarterbacks-how-2017-2021-draft-classes-stack-why-trevor-lawrence-high-list The net is that they have TREVOR LAWRENCE ranked #2 behind Patrick Mahomes for NFL franchise QBs. A guy who hasnt played a down in the NFL, and has the benefit of playing on a stacked college team is going to be better than Josh Allen. Allen is #7 on this dumb list for what it's worth

BTW, i looked into that, a good charity and worthwhile cause. I threw a few bucks into the kitty. It might be nice for Bills fans to make a showing there.

Tua was dominant. But, before him, Jalen Hurts was dominant some/most of the time too. The real issue for Tua is that he's way more tentative now than he ever was in college, and i'm perfectly willing to chalk that up to his pretty awful injury. In fact, that injury was strange because it seemed to be much worse than warranted based on the hit. If I had to guess, he's gonna have a short career, and it's going to end by a medium hit by a linebacker that most other QB's would just shake off.

He's a smart player who shows up in big games. He's not the prototype physical corner but the Bills are a better team when he plays. Furthermore he has a great story and is a humble man. You just want to cheer for him

He covered up the front of the Foster Auditorium pretty well. I mean they talk about it in history books

If he releases anything at all it's bound to be better

Jerry Hughes Do U Bring Him Back or Let Him Walk ?
dorquemada replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bring him back at a reasonable price. He's the most disruptive player on the D, and has to be accounted for whenever he's out there. Im not sure that can be said about anyone else on the current unit. -
My worst fear, maybe because i'm still pissed about yesterday's game, is that we enter the final week, and the phins have pulled ahead in the division, and that last game is meaningless to them. They sit most of their starters and we watch our Bills Keystone Kops their way to a loss. I realize it's not likely, but then again neither is a 40+ yard hail mary with 2 seconds left

Gary Gramling (si.com) Josh Allen Quote

TBH that's a pretty funny take that has the benefit of being rooted in fact, or at least informed opinion. -
Josh Allen - Most Elusive QB in the NFL
dorquemada replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What I love about Allen's elusiveness is that he combines the typical Athletic QB using speed and cuts to avoid hits, but he also is developing Brady's technique of seemingly barely moving at all and seeing people miss all around him. I think that combination is kind of unique, and its starting to look instinctual to him- 29 replies

Wow. This schedule...looks harder than we thought!
dorquemada replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills won a game they were supposed to win yesterday. That counts for something. They should beat the Pats. -
yeah its hard to let the other team sustain 15 play 9 minute drives when you go sacking the quarterback, very unsporting approach really
-
Yeah he could come here and even get to still pay NYS taxes, what's not to like?
