Looks Like the Rest of the NFL Have our Number !!
dorquemada replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
We'll be extremely lucky to split with the Pats. Will the Bills show up against the Jets next week or will it be another half hearted performance like this? If that's the plan then yeah maybe it's time to find something else to do -

Yeah I mean, Diggs was a top 3 receiver last year so lets make sure to ignore him, or only go to him when the game is wildly out of hand, which in the case today was what, early 3rd quarter? Now we can look forward to the Jags owning us forever too. What a garbarge performance by the most overrated team on the NFL in recent memory. At least this should put to rest the grandiose power rankings and Super Bowl odds Seriously, 6 points? How many of the drought era teams had games where we only scored 6? -

So was last week, but they got lucky. I wonder what the line will be against the Jets. If the bills are favored by more than 3 i might break my 20 year rule against betting on Bills games -
Anyone, i dont care, just get him out of here
-
Yup. Just imagine, the Bills lost to a Urban Meyer coached team today with a bunch of guys out. What are the Bills gonna look like against the Pats at full strength? Maybe McD should just focus on excuse making between now and then because he's not very good at getting the team prepared for a game

11/7/21 Gameday Bills @ Jaguars Second Half Thread
dorquemada replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Welp I sure hope this is because the bills were out boozing all night because any alternative is unacceptable. -
any given Sunday and all that but not a list that strikes fear into my hear outside of the hatchet faced satan, of course

TBF he's pretty entertaining on gameday or whatever. Shouldnt ever sniff a sideline again but do enjoy his hot takes
-
he did, and yeah, he seemed pretty drunk to me. Trust me, I am an expert on watching football and talking while drunk

Titans brought excellent inside pressure all night and it just didnt seem like we even tried to adjust for it. OL looked like hot garbage, but even when they held their blocks, Josh sat back there like he was writing the Great American Novel, not a worry in the world. Frustrating.

I think it's a symptom of the larger issue, which is at certain times, usually crunch time, our O looks really predictable. Everyone in the stadium knew exactly what was coming. The O gameplan was uninspired. Is Dogballs doing 12th dimensional chess to keep future opponents off balance? Last year's O had a defined personality that we generally stuck with. I don't feel that about this year's team. The other issue of course is that the Bills got manhandled in the same way they themselves did to KC last week. Game plan, personnel, officiating, none of that matters if you lose most of the physical battles. You could tell early in the 3rd quarter that the Titans were feeding off the punishment they were dishing out and got stronger as the game went along, whereas the Bills started to get that 'run for the bus' look

yeah Davis not gonna be around at 32

I think the Bills play angry and run up the score this week

as long as someone makes Lewan lose his cool and get some penalties, and the Bills win, i'll be happy. Maybe he'll take a swing at Oliver or Star With the penetration the Bills have been getting with 4, i like our chances of catching him in the backfield before he gets a full head of steam -
How about the Die Hard Try Hards, in honor of the original poster

agreed, this is neither the time nor place for Bills news. Let’s keep our focus, people
-
Yeah God forbid we discuss football here. I guess we should just have 1 megathread henceforth, it'll be great, like a usenet news group
-
Are you doing shtick here? That typically comes with humor, if you want it to succeed There's nothing wrong with those threads. If you don't want to read threads started by people excited about Sunday's game, there are a number of other similar websites/forums dedicated to a whole range of topics, one of which might better suit your temperament
-
so, you're upset because new forums users are posting extremely appropriate questions in the week leading up to a big game? did you ever consider that being a mod on a Buffalo Bills fan site might not be for you? Or maybe you'd prefer a twitter style helldump of reaction gifs instead of content?

So what is the Special Teams Gamplan?
dorquemada replied to unbillievable's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll just be happy if Haack can get a punt off in under 30 seconds, and not directly into the belly of an oncoming rusher -
If Milano can't play, it just puts more pressure on the front 4 to get to Kermit the QB. I was pretty happy with how Klein played, and I think he might even be better against the run, which doesnt help when playing the Chiefs much. We really need Milano down the stretch and has been stated repeatedly here, hammy injuries tend to take a longer time to heal. The reality of this game is, if Josh shows up and plays his game, the D doesn't have to be 100%. If Josh does what he did last year, twice, against KC, it doesn't matter what the D does

The Edmunds Report - Week 4, Texans v. Bills, 10/03/21
dorquemada replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I tried to key in on him more during the game - i really appreciate your summary each week. He's getting better in coverage, and he was already pretty good. We're going to get a great measuring stick next week as I figure he'll be covering Kelce. He's going to give up some first downs but if he can get a turnover or even just a few stops, it'll be real growth -

On a team that needed OL help, in teh 2nd round the Bills would skip over a guy that most pundits had as a 1st round pick. A universally praised pick, by the way. You're using hindsight in a way that ends up with THE BILLS SHOULD HAVE DRAFTED TOM BRADY INSTEAD OF LEIF LARSON. While true it's about valuable as saying you should have picked the correct numbers for the powerball last night
