  1. yeah unfortunately brady's playcalling sucks. It's predictable, and even if those throws behind the LOS work, they're only ever going to get 5 yards. We'll ride this guy until it becomes impossible to hide the fact he sucks, then we'll go find another guy nobody has heard of off the scrap pile lather rise repeat
  2. Im not sure this team as currently constituted is capable of the sort of run that they had the end of last year I'd like to see some competent or even average offense against a decent D first, and maybe a performance by the D that isn't bend then break
  3. Agreed 100% though I know a lot of us are looking at this game and saying that given the current team, the prevailing mood/philosophy, and of course, our substandard coaching, and seeing a 'trap game' which of course is just a way to say a game that our team doesn't have the discipline to come out, play mistake free football, and walk away with a win. At this point Im just assuming this is the 3rd loss in a row and one game closer to when they get their act together and go on a run.
  4. "They'll never expect it!!!" meanwhile opposing D are pinning their ears back and bringing 11 to the line
  5. It just sucks that so many of this feel this way. The team has looked half hearted the last couple weeks, they're walking into a highly charged situation tonight, and just dont seem to have a functional personality or plan on offense, and the D has been disappointing. Monday night game, crowd will be it's usual craziness, Rogers got his way and got rid of the coach, i just hope this isnt over before it gets started. I told my son if the Bills go 3 and out first 3 drives, and/or fall 2 scores behind it's kind of hard to see this team getting it together for a comeback, they just dont seem to have the juice
  6. The Bills have an extremely annoying habit of being the get well game for opposing offenses. Who will the previously unknown player on the Jets be who scorches the Bills tonight?
  7. 2018 vs the vikings primarily because of that guy here who bet 5k on the vikings. even if i wasn't a bills fan that would make a top 5 list would somebody here please bet $5k on the jets
  8. play action implies a certain level of competence and discipline that currently is not present on this team what will we get against the jets D this week? I will say this, if Spencer Brown keeps getting drive killing penalties he can sit for a while
  9. I don't know, maybe, and this is just me throwing something out there, let's try throwing the ball forward to Samuel, perhaps even as far as the first down marker. Ok that's crazy talk, definitely a yard short of the 1st down marker.
  10. Look, we're dealing with injuries like everyone else, but the reality is that our Offense is so poorly conceived that it wouldnt matter if we had our full strength team in there. Everyone's going to load the box, and bring the heat until Allen and company figure it out. In years past, that would mean Allen being creative, the broken play offense, but that's clearly been coached out of him. We've taken a wild stallion and turned him into a plow horse so that McD can barf platitudes about complimentary football, and maybe fewer turnovers. That's all great but repeated 3 and outs are literally worse than scoring one drive then turning it over the next. The back breaker is watching the opposing O have a long grueling drive then watching us go 3 and out. I dont even mean from a football perspective, I mean watching 30 minutes of realtime commercials with a few moments of football thrown in to watch the Bills hand the ball back in 3 minutes of realtime
  11. you know, for a guy who calls himself logic
  12. Let's hope the OL shows up this week otherwise Allen is going to be running like it or not, but for his life not for yards
  13. Yikes, the hits just keep coming. We'll need some brilliant coaching to overcome the doldrums, injuries, whatever sadbrains affliction our QB has, and the general difficulty in winning at the Jets. Lol, lmao even what we'll get instead is run up the middle run up the middle bubble scree, 4th and 12 punt the strict philosophy of complimentary football will require the defense to have good plays on 1st and 2nd down, then repeatedly give up 3rd and long on chunk plays gonna be a long night
  14. If Beane and McD were secretly in the employ of the Chiefs, what exactly would they have done differently over the last 7 or 8 years? NB: I AM NOT SAYING THAT THEY ARE SECRETLY IN THE EMPLOY OF THE CHIEFS.
  15. Great point. Signs them then forbids their proper use. Why do they even suit Samuel up on gameday if he's just going to get targeted 5 yards behind the LoS? It would literally be better for Allen to just throw the ball out of bounds.
  16. Yeah they're not firing McD. Im not sure what it'll take in fact, he seems to have the safest job in the NFL. I'd clap all the time too if I knew I could fail on my job and keep it
  17. are they?
  18. It's not that they lost 2 in a row, though that's certainly a consideration, it's that they looked flat as hell, slow, disinterested, and poorly coached. Like I said in another thread, it's like the Jags were their superbowl and now they're checked out. The Jets game will be telling. If the Bills come out with their 1960s style offense, and do their 3 and out dance for the first several drives, it's safe to say that the last 2 games are more representative of who they actually are than the first 3. They're not going to get to play Arizona and the Jags in the playoffs, and right now this team looks woefully overmatched vs KC. But hey, we'll get lots of clapping on the sidelines, maybe some entertaining nuggets from the locker room or off field as the wheels come off. It sure would suck if Diggs wasn't the cancer we've all been told he was, but it was someone else still on the team.
  19. Or the parallel rule, we can't hire anybody that we've heard of
  20. Yeah he bounced his head pretty hard off the carpet. I was surprised to see him back in. I find it pretty hard to believe he didn't have a concussion.
  21. Yeah that was great. Doesn't invalidate my point
  22. Our entire team look stuck in molasses.
  23. Yeah given what the Bills have shown the last 2 weeks against good teams, this is absolutely a must win. We look like a slightly better than average, but only slightly, team this year and if we don't pick up the wins we're supposed to get, we're not going to win the division or get a wildcard. Im not sure this version of the Bills have the mental toughness to fight through the coming schedule with a winning record. Lose to the jets, the wheels come off, and we see the worst version of them for the middle half of the schedule
