Is Cyrus Kouandjio Still a Bust?
dorquemada replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched him on Sunday, and thought he played well for the most part. When he's moving, he manhandled whoever the DE was for the ravens, like swallowed him whole. It looked like he got beat inside once or twice, but not even sure that was his fault and not schematic. I was pleasantly suprised by him, would be great if he came into his own, kind of like a House Ballard for our era -
I'm feeling the same way. Not only frustrated by another losing season, but the quality of the product just plain sucks. I said in another thread that watching ARI-NE was such a different experience. Reflexively I was pulling for ARI but i was just happy to actually be entertained by a game rather than seeing how many little ways I can be let down. Let's face it, this team is boring, and maybe worse than that, they have no heart. I guess we're the suckers for sticking with them as long as we have. The first game I remember well was Fergy in 81(?) against San Diego in the playoffs, had a broken ankle. It was a great game - guys like Frank Lewis, Lou Piccone, the Bermuda Triangle, then later the SB teams, those guys were great ballers with personality to match. I just don't see anyone on the current team in that same light.

We're not going to see any 300 yard throwing games under the current system/players. I'm not sure we'll see 300 yards total net O.

Wow so much pessimism after 1 very tough loss!

yeah, it's the fanbase you should be ashamed of. Thanks for coming by Mr Brandon, looking forward to whatever gimmick you come up with to convince the fans next year to buy tickets since it obviously wont be "see how the 2017 Bills follow up on their successful 2016 season!" -

nice casual sexism. maybe the majority of posters here have just had enough of a crap product and are venting about lost opportunity and lost time. If you want to be the cheerful idiot, by all means, go ahead -

It's sporting of you to come by and offer support to an utterly vanquished foe. Sort of like a Marshall Plan for fans of a completely defeated and utterly hopeless franchise. Maybe the Pats could set up satellite offices in Buffalo and we could cheer in proxy. It looks like you've got a succession plan for Brady in place, so as long as the Hoody wants to coach, the Bills arent going to sniff the playoffs. -

Thanks where's the thread for the low information fans that still think the bills are a professional football team and not an elaborate joke on people who deserve better? -

If they come out flat and emotionless, I hope the fans boo lustily -
Or Shady...i don't want to drive in traffic on the interstate so I'm going to drive 500 miles out of the way through every stop sign between here and there to avoid the traffic. it'll only take 5x longer but I will have made a point

Belichick is the villain Bills fans love to hate

Good post, I'd like to make one small correction. Rex is not a bonafide clown, he failed out of clown college. So he's a failed clown, which is somehow worse -

The bones in sammy's feet are mature beyond his years, that much we know for sure. -
They should put him on IR then preemptively on next year's IR too. In fact, they should see about some kind of suspended animation until foot replacement technology has caught up to his predicament. Maybe keep him on ice until our next playoff appearance in 2132, and bring him in for that, at least until the 3rd play when he gets injured again

Hot Take! I have good news for you, yesterday's Bills looked eerily similar to a Dick Jauron coached team. Maybe he never left the building. Let's listen to Rexy's presser and wait for him to say "it's hard to win in the NFL" so we know that the transformation is complete -

Exactly what I was saying last night, 6 points is an iron clad, 100% insurmountable deficit for the Bills, with less than a half to play. They will not come back if they have to score a TD, period. If they're down 2, they might luck into a FG, but the way this team is built and coached, I do not believe they have the mental fortitude to fight through adversity, or a determined opponent. Rex's style and demeanor, not to mention his coaching skills and gameplan, do not belong in the NFL. -

aaaaaaaaaaand that's coaching and leadership. When the Bills hired Rexy, one of my coworkers, jets fan, said, i know you're excited, but I promise you that you will regret this within 3 years. Welp, Bruce, thanks, you were right, if a little conservative on the schedule -
you made me think of the shortbus going by with the neighborhood kids making that sound that the minions make...your 2016 Buffalo Bills!

meh, i'm sure the Bills will win a couple few games this year just because systemic parity and the law of averages basically demand it, maybe Darby gets the pick 6 next time, maybe they sustain a drive, who knows, but I don't think anyone with a strait face can claim that they are a playoff team this year. Not with the patchwork O-line and tissuepaper watkins as the #1 threat, and the village idiot coach -
I had a thought as I watched the ARI-NE game last night, that both of those teams were simply FASTER than the Bills. I don't mean in strait 40 times, because we have all sorts of track stars on the team. I mean, in how fast the players execute plays, come out of the huddle, get in their stance, and do whatever they do. The pats in particular seem to be moving in quick-time compared to the Bills. Is the thick headed slovenly nature of our coaching and management permeating the very speed of movement of the players? Are they so checked out already that nobody's in a rush to do anything, and don't even really want to break a sweat?
