  1. lotta butthurt people in the NFL trying to wish Josh Allen away
  2. Whoever they cut, by week 3 we'll all agree they cut the wrong guys
  3. Tre, Milano, Miller, I dont think we can say they're overly cautious. Something sure is wrong though, we could barely field a starting D against KC in the playoffs
  4. Coleman is going to be fine. Assuming Trubisky is safely on the bench
  5. I've had similar feelings, somewhere between doom and indifference. The normal stuff I used to get hyped over isn't getting reaction but I recognize that part of it is the absolute assault on the senses that we live with every day between social media, phones, the web, whatever. I barely paid attention to the Chicago preseason game, was too busy following some drama on twitter on my tablet, sitting in a luxury recliner in front of a 77" OLED tv. We'll get excited about the regular season starting, though the other side of the coin is that the team as currently constituted, starters dropping like flies, it's getting hard to picture them fielding a full varsity team on week 1. Enjoy it for what it's worth.
  6. Well yes of course but do you know how many CBs and Safeties will be available? No way no how will Beane be able to overlook them
  7. More like he needs to dumpster dive bc at this rate we wont have 22 starting players healthy by week 1
  8. I hear they quietly got better, sneakily even!
  9. If this trend continues at some level someone in charge has to look at it and say (1) we're just the unluckiest team ever, or (2) scouting staff are picking uniquely fragile players, relative to the rest of the league, or (3) the strength and conditioning team are actually employed by KC
  10. I think the record shows that KC is more focused on player performance than off field antics, at least in relative proportion to the Bills. We can argue all day about the fundamental morality of that but the Bills have a long history of getting smoked by teams like KC now and Dallas back in the day that didn't cut players that did questionable things. Exhibit 1: Hill, Tyreek
  11. yeah the whole key to this year was to get off to a good start. Instead we're going to be trolling the Kenmore East/Kenmore West game for starting players Another slow start with lots of agita heading into mid season. Not sure we can continue to count on the sort of run we had last year. It's got to be the strength and conditioning people, i've never seen a team so snakebit before. As long as JA17 is around we have a shot but this is not shaping up great. Maybe we should consider drafting more than 1 WR next year?
  12. Well, one was an entirely false accusation, the other was recorded comments that the principal 'admits' to making. Guess which one was acted upon? I say that having no issue with Butker expressing his beliefs, public, private, or otherwise. The point here is that there was plenty of bad press for the Chiefs and the NFL over Butker's comments. In fact i had a friend express outrage about them even though she has never watched a NFL game. The Chiefs did the right thing by ignoring the perpetually offended, a group with little overlap of ticket buying NFL fans.
  13. "Show me the man, I'll show you the crime" Lavrentiy Beria was unavailable for comment
  14. Not a nitpick at all, since even in Gomorrah California that's a crime unto itself. Like i told my son when he started college 2 years ago, when in doubt card her. Perhaps to protect everyone we need to enter into binding & notarized contract with RealID verification before physical contact is made
  15. That's fair. If anything, MA has a lot more evidence for a lawsuit against SDSU and the SDPD, discovery would be fascinating. A college football player having sex with a woman isn't illegal, dare i say there wouldn't be very many players in the NFL if it was. The fact that this woman absolutely tried to get rich by lying should cost her something but I guess that just not how things work.
  16. A tiny, tiny fraction of what was said in the wake of the MA false accusation. Or are you claiming there was the same level of outrage but the Bills didnt react because of what, exactly? Too much money tied up in the player? That's not really a good look either. You know it was a legal decision? You have some insider info you want to share?
  17. You don't agree that the Bills would do the same thing again in the same situation? So if someone comes out and says that Joe Andressen or however he spells it was involved in a gang rape in college, the Bills will take a measured approach this time, adn wait for actual evidence beyond an accusation? Or they'll cut him the next day? If it's the former, it's tacit acknowledgement that they caved to the mob with zero evidence of wrongdoing on MA's part. If it's the latter, it's a solid sign that they've learned nothing and every player is a baseless accusation away from being cut.
  18. My point is that it was a reaction to the mob. The mob was mysteriously muted when the accusations against Von Miller came out. The double standard is "can we score cheap points by doing something that costs us nothing?" versus "damn we might actually need that guy later, let's sweep this under the rug"
  19. I've said this before. McD's defense are statistically dominant. Spagnola's defense makes big plays in big games. The Bills have an incredibly annoying habit of giving up 3rd and forever at the worst possible times over the last 5 years
  20. I doubt the Bills offered a return to the team, but to your point, if the reigning SB champs call, you're going to chose them in any case. Plus, KC is obviously more interested in SB rings than they are virtue signaling or they'd have gotten rid of Butker when the usual suspects had a moral panic about him earlier this year
  21. Which is why they shouldn't have just reacted to the mob demanding they cut ties. They have now created an expectation that a sufficiently serious accusation requires an immediate response that all ties with a player get cut. Hard to see how this could possibly go wrong.
  22. Mahomes wouldn't be the same QB with the Bills coaching staff. Not that it matters, for a while we were able to say oh hey look we got Allen AND White, but lol
  23. He knew he had nothing to do with it. It's perfect encapsulation about the way a lot of people think these days that he should put himself through a maoist style struggle session based on a lie told by someone with zero basis in fact.
  24. He concealed WHAT? The DA never pressed charges. The woman and her attorney didn't even file a suit. The Bills cut him the day after the (false) accusation became public. So I'll ask again, what did Araiza conceal?
  25. The Defense has to stop disappearing when it counts most
