Umm many restaurants do what is called "marrying" the bottles. They pour the contents from one bottle into another. Other restaurants will simply have a big bag that they fill the bottles with. -

Abortion. Forced miscarriages is art?

He seems fairly intelligent to me. He can craft a sentence or a paragraph that is extremely eloquent. When he actually decides to debate, he brings up excellent points IMO. Oh and he is full of "poopy loops of poopy poo" or somesuch. -
McCain Calls For A Gas Tax 'Holiday'

I agree with you on the reserves part obviously. I think that "salting" some oil away for lean times is a good move. Did demand increase in the time the Iraqi oil production increased out of curiosity? I am not trying to pin anything on Bush. He has done a masterful job of assigning blame to himself in other areas. I was suggesting a course he could have taken that would, perhaps, have been more effective in hindsight. At the time of 9/11 this country would have agreed to just about anything he proposed. If that meant conserving energy, people would have gone for it. At least at first. I am unsure what that would mean for the economy to be honest. -

I disagree with the reserve part as that really is a pittance overall compared to the market. Further hypothetical, if Bush had instead focused on conservation and research after 9/11, instead of the Iraq war, it could have reduced demand. Tax credits for insulation, telecommuting for businesses, houses or even businesses getting off the grid through wind power or even solar (maybe depends on the battery disposal). Something along those lines would have decreased demand. At the same time increasing supply and decreasing demand weakens the nations that supply oil. Is that a bad thing? -

True enough, yet Ronald Reagan at this point in time, is still better than Bush the younger. Hell, two years ago you would have had a legitimate argument that Carter was better than him. Historians will have them about equal IMO. Bottom of the barrel rejects that shouldn't have been put in charge of a lone Subway franchise. With regards to Carter (the above was just to piss off Wacka) he really needs to shut up. I am tired of hearing about him messing with the process. Sure no one is really doing anything, yet his moment is past. He is being used for propaganda and doesn't even realize it IMO. -
Do you know what corn syrup is?

In response to your earlier bit Tom, I have never heard a black person say to me that the US created HIV to inflict on them. I work with lots of black people and go out drinking with them. Well used to. I have never heard a single person say that, except on a message board. I have heard them say that "Whitey sucks" or some variant thereof. Perhaps, they don't trust me as much as I thought they did.

Do you pay your utility bills in person?
Booster4324 replied to JoeFerguson's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I have also worked in a Customer Care department where we do monthly billing fo a product that ships every 4 months. Essentially, for the average customer, we ship a 4 month supply every 4 months and bill every month until it is all paid off. Then we reship starting the cycle all over again. So they see a payment on the same date of every month. I had a guy call and ask me why we billed him. He was absolutely furious and cussed me out from the start of the call. He had received nine shipments and made 35 payments at the time. All on the same date over the last 3 years. He wanted to know why. I explained to him the policy and how the system worked. He said he never ordered it. He then hesitated and asked the name of who we were shipping to. I said a woman's name. Same last name as his btw. He said, "I see, well I apologize and I will find out exactly what this means when I get home." I googled the area newspapers but never found a story of a "Husband kills Wife", but maybe he got away with it. -

Semi related - I had a lady come into my bar one evening and use her debit card to pay for a to go meal. It declined. She asked me to run it again, so I did (probably hitting her with another NSF fee) and watched it decline again. I explained that it was declining and that if NSF was the reason then she could be hit every time I tried it. At this point she told me not to try again and asked if she could pay with a check... -
Hmm, considering this what other position do you need tgreg? DT?

4th Level Guard named Steame Droller, if you are interested tgreg. Edit - Strength: 25 Speed: 13 Agility: 13.75 Jumping: 8 Stamina: 23.75 Vision: 13.75 Confidence: 17 Blocking: 25 Tackling: 10.75 Throwing: 8 Catching: 9 Carrying: 9 Kicking: 8 Punting: 7 Run Blocking Abilities: 2/2/2/1 Pass Blocking Abilities: none atm intentionally. I plan on training in stamina to the maximum of my energy and my pay. Levels will add to strength and blocking primarily at first. After that I will increase vision and speed. Basic idea for equipment is two items for strength and two items for blocking. The custom item will also be for either blocking or strength. I will have to ditch the current one, but hey, it is my first attempt.
