Seriously, I would never be so stupid. I have known lots of cops and pissing them off was never a good idea. Even the ones I knew. My point was mainly about how most should be condemning this period. Mouthing off to a cop on your own land is not a cause for arrest. Not even if you follow them out the door. From what I have read, Gates is an ass. The conservatives on this board who agree with these tactics have convinced me it is a serious issue though. I can see the liberals going for the idea more easily than conservatives.

You meekly wait for their questions and try to explain in an intelligent manner what has occurred. Anything else, even on your own property, is just asking to get arrested or even shot.
