  1. We just need to get that Tom Brady guy. I wonder what he’s doing these days?
  2. Bates is Morse’s replacement so we have to keep one of them.
  3. Sorry. Everyone is a little testy around here this week.
  4. He's basing it on nothing. I recognize this is a common bit of WNY psychology. "Josh Allen is too good for us and he's going to want to go to LA or Miami like everyone else." I admit I get that way sometimes and I don't even live there anymore. And in any case, Josh Allen knows that in every game that this team has lost his own brutal mistakes have played a crucial role. And another thing. If Josh wanted McDermott or Dorsey fired, all he would have to do is whisper that to Pegula. He's not stuck, in any sense of the word.
  5. Just because you can break down and analyze what other people are doing doesn't mean that you can design plays of your own. Orlovsky chose the TV route. If he wanted to get into coaching, he would have had to go be a position coach somewhere a few years ago and work his way up. In any case, he's probably making NFL assistant money in a much less-stress environment. Guys don't usually go from TV back to coaching. Take Bill Cowher and Steve Mariucci for example.
  6. On a serious note, McKitty is a blocking TE. He played 541 snaps (45%) for the Chargers last year and only had 18 targets.
  7. Practice squad IR? Is that like double-secret probation?
  8. He does want to plant 1,000 acres of Pistachio trees on his father's farm. Kind of a strange desire for a guy that has "gone Hollywood." https://www.on3.com/pro/news/josh-allen-has-plans-to-grow-1000-acres-of-pistachios-for-second-income-stream/
  9. Beane, yet again shows zero imagination! Two Tres?
  10. This is the most BBFS statement that I have read on here all week. He wants out of a 5-4 team that struggling a bit this year in no small part due to the fact that he himself cannot stop throwing interceptions?
  11. It happens to all teams and in most games. It happened to the Bengals in the game on Sunday night, but you weren't frustrated by it so it didn't seem as bad. Remember the drive after the Bills FG when the Bengals were driving and then suddenly couldn't complete a pass? The Bills punted the same number of times that the Bengals did (3). It was the turnovers that did the Bills in. KC couldn't score in the second half in Germany. The Eagles punted the ball all three times that they had it in the 4th after scoring at will earlier in the game.
  12. I can remember a time when Adam Gase was the hot offensive mind that all teams wanted to hire.
  13. I know that you don't like hockey, but they have a good guy with the Sabres now too. But that was after hiring the worst HC that I have ever seen in any sport.
  14. Joe Burrow is only 198 days younger than Josh and gets a serious injury every year. Is their window closing?
  15. The Bills coulda signed him and traded Josh. There are about 6 non-troll posters on here that would have done that yesterday.
  16. I got a few more: Can't read a defense pre-snap Should be traded
  17. On the offense, the only one that I can think of is Chad Hall. But Adam Henry, the guy the Bills hired, certainly has a strong resume. He seems to have worked a lot with OBJ, both in college and in the league. https://static.clubs.nfl.com/image/upload/v1693415686/bills/x0ogre2fw5biu5793mwx.pdf
  18. True, but Wentz had little to do with that loss to the Colts in 2021.
  19. Maybe Chad Hall was the biggest loss?
  20. He might be, but he's a real jerk who divides locker rooms and his talent doesn't make up for it.
  21. I'm really surprised that he's not going to the Giants. With Daniel Jones out and Tyrod on IR, who backs up DeVito?
  22. All of this is true. Josh Allen, until he got to the NFL, had almost zero coaching. Brian Daboll and Ken Dorsey (I know everyone hates him now, but I think he did a good job working with Josh as the QB coach) taught him a whole lot about the QB position but he's still only been at this for 6 years. Lets take Joe Burrow as a counter example. Jim Burrow was the DC at Ohio University for more than 15 years and has been in the coaching profession since his NFL/CFL playing career ended. Joe Burrow is currently 26 years old, and he has been coached to read defenses by someone who designed them for probably 21 years. Payton and Eli too.
  23. I'll watch. My favorite non-Bills NFL game last year was the Colts-Broncos FG fest. Everything that could go wrong did, and I watched every second of it.
  24. These moves have meddling ownership written all over them.
