  1. I've got it bookmarked. I'm just happy that chose to yell at the TV instead of posting.
  2. Pretty soon, teams won't be able to afford vet QBs once their franchise WR is off of his rookie contract.
  3. In my experience, the worst part is the laxative that you have to take the night before the prep day. Also, drink lots of chicken broth; it feels like real food.
  4. This is what obsessed fans do at draft time; they "scout" and "grade" college prospects, form strong and unmovable opinions and then throw temper tantrums that would put a 3-year-old to shame when the team has a different draft board than they do.
  5. Yes, it is. I'm not going to speculate as to why because that conservation could get heated and go off the rails very quickly, but it is a fact.
  6. Strange that Keion Coleman seems to have just dropped off the face of the earth.
  7. "Defense wins championships!" /s
  8. Terell Bernard? James Cook? Christian Benford? Half this board hated the Milano pick in the 5th, FFS.
  9. I think that they are going to do it, if Mike McDaniel gets his way. There were reports that the Fins staff all went to Austin to look at Sweat on Texas' pro day, but that McDaniel spent all day drooling over Worthy.
  10. Unless the Bills trade up for MHJ or Nabers, half of this board will hate the pick and instantly declare that they are no longer fans of the team. And even if they do trade up, some on here will be mad that they gave up too much. It really doesn't matter who it is, at least 50% of TBDers will think that they could have done a better job than Beane.
  11. You are probably joking, but the last white CB to start a game was Sehorn in 2003.
  12. Not only that, but the Vikings can offer two first THIS YEAR to go up and get a QB so our offer wouldn't be enough. This is a no on both sides.
  13. Reuter is trying to read the tea leaves based on comments made by GMs in their OTA pressers and top 30 visits.
  14. This reminds me of that former Syracuse player Matt Tomaszweski who tried to play Brian Scalabrine in one on one. This guy played in the Big East, but only could manage one point against the very definition of an NBA journeyman. To paraphrase scal, Nathan Peterman is closer to Mahomes than you are to him.
  15. OBJ. He got hurt in the first half but he still got a ring.
  16. And Pegula was a minority owner of the Penguins.
  17. Nah, stay up there. Josh Allen is about to ask for a trade. I read it right here on TBD.
  18. That's my point. If you want great WRs, you have to put up with the behavior and Josh has to learn how to manage that. It's part of his job. I mean, MHJ and Nabers have already started acting like they are too good for the draft process and that they have to make "business decisions" and that's before even being drafted.
  19. I am flipping back and forth between TBD and SabresSpace today and on one board Josh Allen is demanding a trade because he hates Sean McDermott (there is no indication that this is true in any way) and on the other board, the team is getting sold and moved (all because of someone on Twitter who posts under the name 12oz sports). Buffalo sports fans are like a toxic slurry of misery and confirmation bias. If our teams aren't actively in the process of making us miserable, we'll invent stuff to make ourselves miserable. Misery is our natural state. My theory is that it all stems from an inferiority complex that comes from growing up in WNY when the place was not nice at all and Johnny Carson used to make fun of us weekly. Everybody hates us and we don't deserve nice things.
  20. They try to fill up as much of the space between the Super Bowl and the start of Training Camp as they can. It goes: Televised combine Pro days Top 30 visits (results in rumors to be discussed) Draft Schedule release Rookie Mini Camp Mini Camp Training Camp The only gap is June to mid July. Other than during that period, the NFL dominates the national sports discussion. The NBA does this too. They have their draft right after the season ends, but then they have televised Summer League games where fans get their first glimpses of the newly-drafted players as pros. Then training camps open in September. The only gap is August.
  21. I don;t even know how you could measure this. Plays that result in penalties are not recorded in the stats. Someone would have to go back and watch every game over the past 6 years.
  22. See, there is an example of confirmation bias. We jumped to respond to this without verifying because it confirms our pre-existing bias. I'll try to be better.
