  1. It's not so much that he is a coaching guru. It's It's more that the players liked him.
  2. That's a given.
  3. Gabe might have wanted out, too. He and his mother seemed annoyed by the fans bitching about drops, and he knows that no one cares in Jacksonville.
  4. 6 years of NFL stats and game film, and GMs are still willing to pay Saquon big money because of his draft position.
  5. I know people are going to complain, but that is a good move at that price. You need backups too.
  6. I guess Morse and Gabe loved the London trip and wanted to repeat it every year.
  7. Chad Hall
  8. They probably put an extension in front of him and he has to decide whether to sign it or "bet on himself."
  9. If multiple teams are in on a guy, it takes time to get that worked out.
  10. Same deal that Swift got, and they had similar years (~1,300 total yards). I'm surprised that the Cowboys let him go, but maybe they finally learned not to give RBs a second contract.
  11. Tee Higgins' most productive year in college came with Lawrance. That's why they were on that list.
  12. Let me introduce you to a Mr. Bobby Bonilla: https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/international/us/bobby-bonilla-day-why-does-new-york-mets-star-bobby-bonilla-gets-1-2-million-on-july-1/articleshow/101423397.cms?from=mdr
  13. RBs are such bargains now. You get over 1,000 yards of offensive production for hockey-player money.
  14. So he's either going back to the Jags or to a team with no QB.
  15. For a league with only 18 regular season games, they sure do demand a lot of my attention.
  16. The Niners are so well run as a franchise, I think that if they don't want to pay a guy then I don't want my team paying him either.
  17. They're not building anything. They laid down some field turf over their old practice field outside of the stadium, put a bubble over that, and called it an "indoor practice facility." The local MLS team has much better training facilities than the Bengals but that's because the Lindners have actual assets outside of the team.
  18. Remember folks, all of Schefter's sources are agents. He will always report the biggest possible number.
  19. Exactly. It has to be hard for him to see Morse cut and Bates traded. These guys spend most of their time during the season in their position rooms so they get close.
  20. As the kids like to say these days, he just "bet on himself." I'm sure that we all hope that he makes all 20 million.
  21. I understand why they did it, but it's still sad to see him and Hyde go. This team, at least on the defensive side, is going to go through a pretty significant shift this offseason.
  22. That was Dave Shula. Mike Shula is the guy who bombed at Alabama before Saban.
