  1. The Bills spent their first pick in the draft on a WR and let Josh Allen have a say in the choice. How would that make him frustrated? I think he got tired of the drops and wanted a guy with good hands. I would have taken Mitchell, but then again I don’t have to coach or play with the guy. This has been a process for me. Before the season ended, I wanted Coleman or Leggett because I wanted a big guy who catches almost the balls thrown his way. Then I started listening to you people, and I became a big Franklin guy. I was the all hyped for Worthy after the combine, but then I reconsidered. He almost certainly worked with track coaches for a month to get that time. It’s all in the start. I think it’s very telling that he declined doing any other drills. That’s because he didn’t train for them. When you watch him play, he’s fast but not Tyreek fast and he drops balls. So then, I was and still am a Ladd guy. But I guess I can’t complain because if you had told me back in January that the Bills would have drafted Coleman I would have been very happy. So I choose to be hopeful. At the very least he should go a long way in solving the red zone problems.
  2. They draft for traits all the time, but speed is never one of them.
  3. Why does Beane refuse to add speed to the lineup? Why?????
  4. Carter had a good week at the Senior Bowl, as did Bishop. The Bills put a lot of stock in that historically.
  5. Because some of the posters on this board scouted WRs this winter like it was a part-time job, they formed very strong opinions. Then the Bills went and picked the guy that TBD groupthink eliminated from their board while passing on the consensus TBD pick in AD MItchell. I mean, TBD tried to draft Mitchell three times in our group mocks. I think that the reason that the Bills thought differently was because they actually interviewed the guys. Also, fans wanted two WRs high because WRs are the most fun position to watch. That being said, we lost Diggs and didn't replace him. We don't have an elite route runner on the roster.
  6. Drunk Lions fans chanting Jerrod Goff is getting a little bit old.
  7. It's a good draft in a vacuum, but not after trading Diggs. They created a hole and did nothing to fill it, so the team is worse than last year.
  8. Most of those trade-ups in the 4th involved 2025 3rds.
  9. With the portal, guys transfer from small schools to bigger programs before their draft year.
  10. Cole Bishop is by far my favorite Bills pick in this draft. He lit up the Senior Bowl.
  11. I wasn't. I am usually a very positive fan. But this feels like a major step back in offensive and defensive talent compared to last year. I REALLY hope I'm wrong.
  12. Beane has botched this pretty badly.
  13. Let me state this again. THIS IS WHY I DIDN't WANT TO TRADE DIGGS AND "JUST GET HIS REPLACEMENT IN THE DRAFT." The draft board never fall how you need it to in order to have needs match value.
  14. I can't listen to that because it makes me want to dust off the skateboard and go skate. My 50-year-old self might actually die.
  15. The problem is that he tends to, sometimes, not catch the dang ball.
  16. They're currently building a new facility so that is probably a rented conference room.
  17. Green Bay is going it next year. If they can do it, then Buffalo can too.
  18. I was talking about Franklin dropping, not Coleman.
  19. The combine results were indicative of a lack of preparation which demonstrates a poor work ethic.
  20. Exactly. If they don’t win this year, the entire regime running this draft in Chicago won’t be making the picks next year. They almost got fired this year.
  21. If there was a TBD hall of fame, this post would be a first-ballot inductee.
  22. I agree, but I do know that Shakir's advanced stats tell me he should get a lot more production with more targets. I'm sure the Bills see those same stats.
  23. They are just following draft value. It's why I REALLY didn't want to trade Diggs and "replace him in the draft." It didn't fall that way, which was entirely expected.
  24. I feel the need to pop in here again to point out that Coleman catches every ball thrown in his direction.
