  1. We had a player like that. Bills should have done with Diggs what the Bengals are doing with Higgins and Hendrickson. Teams don’t have to honor trade demands.
  2. Debbi from Depew? What I really want to know is the opinion of Don from Dunkirk, but unfortunately he’s tied up all day in high level business meetings.
  3. Of course narratives matter. I was just making a joke. Also, just because Josh doesn’t take daily workout videos and posts them to his IG story doesn’t mean that he not working. We only know about the golf because OTHER PEOPLE take selfies with him in the course and post them. His last post to IG was a Subway ad at the SB.
  4. I don't know this for sure, but that could be for ADA compliance. Rich/Ralph Wilson/New Era/Highmark Stadium is not ADA compliant in any way, but they get a pass because the facility is so old. For new construction, they would have to have accessible sections and places for fans in wheelchairs.
  5. This is about the Steelers, but he describes TBD in a nutshell
  6. It was an easy call. They needed weapons for Young, they wanted to make a first-round pick to save face after that awful trade the year before, and they could take the local kid. I don't think that Beane even had to ask.
  7. That's the prize for winning the division. That's also why I predict that if Joe Burrow stays healthy the Bengals will get the 1 seed. That roster and a 4th place schedule is a recipe for success.
  8. If Josh had been at that race, there would be a whole thread on here about him being lazy. Aaron Rodgers was at the Kentucky Derby. Why wasn’t he throwing with his new WRs? Pacheco and Kelce were there too, and not in Miami bonding with Pat Pat and Britt, who had a romantic night out in Miami where they were seen spending thousands on champers. In case you can’t tell, I just went down a TMZ rabbit hole and I can’t climb out.
  9. I don’t know why the Pats are complaining. Isn’t it standard operating procedure for GMs to call around to see if anyone is willing to beat a deal? And the Bills only had to make one call. The fact that they worked the Pats over is just gravy.
  10. I love me some Musburger. Here's for me the most Musburger moment in broadcasting history, and no it's not McCarron's girlfriend.
  11. I looked it up. Players couldn't grab the face mask since 1964. And stomping on someone has been a penalty since the leather helmet days. But they used to show penalties on highlight reels all the time back then. I mean, how many hockey fights VHS tapes did the NHL release?
  12. Cincinnati raises its hand in the back and yells, in its best Arnold Horshack voice, "Oh! Oh! Whaaat Aboutttt Meeeeee!"
  13. People have decided to be negative. There is no moving Buffalo fans off that position. Let them wallow.
  14. I came in here to post the exact thing, almost word for word. Except, technically, I live in Springfield Township. And to be fair, the Bengals may have been better off with Penei Sewell but that is another conversation all together.
  15. People don't like the Coleman pick, so they are looking for another toy.
  16. To be fair, the Bills were losing so much back then that they ruined my love for the game too.
  17. I think that the majority of the negativity is from the posters on this board. We spent A LOT of time "scouting" WRs since the season ended. We came to a consensus that if Odunze and Thomas Jr. were not possibilities, then it had to be Mitchell. So, when the Bills went in another direction we had all decided that this was a mistake weeks before the draft. The reaction is predictable. The last time we "scouted" this hard was in 2018; the reaction was even stronger.
  18. Why is anyone surprised by this? It’s status quo. And they can pay him because top TEs make a fraction of top WRs. It’s a bit of a loophole.
  19. Ravens just this last year. No one had over 900 yards receiving and only Flowers had over 600. They won 13 games. It was Lamar that strikes the fear. https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/stats/_/name/bal/baltimore-ravens
  20. Because they have that GPS data now, so they don't have to depend on 40 times and the eye test.
  21. Kincaid was the best pass catcher on the board when the Bills drafted last year. I think the distinction between playmaking positions is breaking down in the NFL. I know you hate basketball, but this happened in that sport about a decade ago. Now you have the PG, the C, and a bunch of 6-8 to 6-10 swingmen that can all shoot. Everyone can score from everywhere. I think this is how Joe Brady wants to play. I hope he knows what he’s doing.
  22. If that’s what he believes in, then he’s gone against his own beliefs in the last two drafts.
  23. I don’t even agree with myself anymore here. He meant a transition in leadership. I just had a hot take. But Beane sometimes speaks before he thinks.
