These are supposed to be bold, so I'll go really bold: Non-Bills: This year's worst to first team? The Arizona Cardinals. Bryce Young has a good year and the Panthers win the NFC South. Diggs has his best-ever statistical season, causing a weekly thread on TBD bemoaning the trade. The Jets win the AFC East and the #1 seed but lose in the Divisional Round. Bills (I'm in a bad mood today, so here goes) Bills go 9-8 and miss the playoffs. That's the record they should have had last year if not for a few lucky bounces and other teams rolling over (KC, Chargers, Fins) and the roster is much worse so maybe 9-8 is optimistic. Beane and McDermott are both fired. Kincaid has a nice year, but it's overshadowed by the dominance of LaPorta (who they could have had) Bills don't have a single player with over 700 receiving yards. The skill position players that the Bills have provided their franchise QB this year is criminal.

They want to do it at home. I think they also want to not play anyone against Pittsburgh, who are known to ball out in preseason. This also leaves the final preseason game if the first team looks rusty.

I agree with you but, just to play devil's advocate, Kelce is probably the best "receiving target" in the NFL. He plus anyone is a good top-two pass-catching tandem. We hope that Kincaid can become that but it's certainly a risk. One that might cost some people their jobs.

Those guys sources are either agents (Schefter) or front-office personnel (Rappaport). Or they are like Kleinman and just report stuff that other people already reported. The key is to know who is who. In this case, Aiyuk's agent is trying to get him more money so he is feeding stuff to Schefter. I would bet the farm on that.

I'm just not sure that Aiyuk makes the Browns all that much better. It's more making a splash just to make a splash. I'm just not sure how much better Aiyuk is than Cooper. Aiyuk's been in an incredible system where he has never seen a double team. That all changes at the clear #1 in Cleveland. Also, Cleveland is where WR careers go to die.
