The Eagles LT is a whole yard behind the Center. Nice start, Sequon. -
When you watch the NBA Draft and Bilas says "he's got big hands and great ball skills" I giggle every time.

He had a 3.5 million cap hit before this.

The chatter around the Worthy trade isn't rational

It's not about this board. The OP was about the fact that the entire NFL world was clowning on the Bills last night and this morning. -
It acts as a restructure and lowers his cap hit this year. There has been a lot of re-signings this week across the league and I think this is why.

Week 1 - Cardinals at Bills - Game Week Thread

And the refs picking up that flag in NE. I agree. But my point was about national narratives, not reality. The consensus outside of WNY is that the Bills were a marginally good team that got worse this offseason. My response was about someone being shocked that some NFL content creator predicted the Bills to be 5-12 and my point was that this is the consensus league-wide. -

It took the Jags losing to a Titans team with nothing to play for. If the Jags had taken care of business and the Bills had lost in Miami, the Bills would have missed the playoffs. And the key play in the Miami game was Deonte Harty’s 98 yard punt return. The Bills also needed a FG at the gun to beat the Chargers and a Douglas pick 6 to beat the Pats on NYE. They also needed a flag to beat KC. That’s what I mean by “almost missing the playoffs.” -

I didn't say "reasonable prediction." I said "not an unreasonable take." In fact, the Bills being pretty bad is the most common opinion amongst fans of other teams and local sports talk radio guys not located in WNY. And that's where everyone here is pulling the "outrageous" quotes from. -
The way that they have it set up, the returner pretty much gets to the 25 before contact so there is little advantage to kicking returnable balls.

I hate to be negative, but it's not an unreasonable take. They barely made the playoffs last year and actually got significantly worse, at least on paper. When you list out what the team lost this offseason, it's really quite striking: Both safeties One of their leading pass rushers in Floyd #1 WR #2 WR Starting Center And at least on paper, every replacement looks like a downgrade. So, 5-12 is not unreasonable. But it's wrong, because 17. -

Interesting that they're in this position after missing so badly with the Skyy Moore pick. Same thing at RB. The C E-H wiff gets papered over because they hit in Pachecko in the 7th. Well, that and all the Lombardis. -

The whole community of NFL content creators is clowning on this Bills this morning. If this is content that you consume, this has been a rough morning for Bills fans. -
Random contract signings around the league

Well, according to the football geniuses at TBD, the best balance for an NFL roster is 1 QB and 52 WRs so maybe they're on to something, -

He wasn't making that much less than that before. For his ego he has to be the highest paid corner in the league. So they gave him a little extension to satisfy one of the biggest egos in the league. Remember when he showed up to Jags camp in a Brinks truck? -

So you want Beane to make draft decisions with social media in mind? Like, "I can't do that...Bills Mafia will take so much crap on Twitter." -
Bills fans hate on Lamar because he was drafted after Josh and has two MVPs. The implication being that the Bills made a mistake.

If this is true, then that's a terrible read. -

Again, I don't want to talk about this but the majority of the players in this league are African American. Lamar is a hero. He doesn't compromise. He is who he is, and players respect that. -

I don't now how a contenting team completely revamps their OL on the fly in one offseason. The Bengals do that, but that is because Tobin can't draft OL like Beane can't draft WRs. -

You can add race into my statement and it still holds true. He's a black man who didn't hire an agent and still got paid.
