  1. I don’t think I’ve ever hate watched a color guy, but Brady just might make me do it.
  2. This too. I try not to take too much out of a week 1 loss, but it’s hard not to freak out.
  3. I hate week 1 because you never know what to expect. Every year some team is a lot better than they were the year before. That could be the Cards.
  4. I’m 50, but I probably didn’t start paying attention until I was 5, so it’s 45 years for me.
  5. And you chose 7 because Reid was in his 7th year in KC when he won the first one.
  6. If you're not watching the ND game, turn it on now.
  7. That's the most important thing. Every Friday, Joe Brady should call Nick Wright to see what amount of production Coleman would have to have to get him to admit that the Bills were right and then base his game plan around that. He also should have a weekly thread on Gang Green and Fin Heaven to ask what the Bills would have to do for them to stop harassing Bills fans on social media and then make sure that it happens.
  8. Wasting three years on the EJ Manuel draft pick.
  9. That's it. I'm off to withdraw all your money and buy out the world's supply of blue cheese dressing.
  10. Since I have been all over this board with negative takes for the past week or so (which is not my usual practice), I thought that I would add something positive. People keep talking about a lack of speed on this team, but Curtis Samuel ran a 4.31 at the combine. I know that was 7 years ago, but when you watch him play he still runs past DBs. In our game against Washington, he ran right past Benford: I believe that Joe Brady asked for him specifically and has plans on how to use him. I'm pretty excited to see how that works out.
  11. 5-12 was a hot take. But the Bills are seen as a team that got worse. Other teams got better or are getting a QB back from injury. The story of the Bills offseason was the loss of Diggs, a player that is still seen as a superstar outside of Buffalo. Then they replace him (and Gabe) with two vets who have done little in the league and drafted a guy that some draftniks had as a third-rounder. This is the narrative, which I know has little basis in reality but it's what drives 5-12 hot takes. I never said that I agree with it. I think this is a 9 to 11-win team. If Keon breaks out, perhaps even 12 or 13. But the league-wide opinion is that the Bills take a big step back this year. I mean, look at the JV broadcast team that we're getting for the opener, which is only on in WNY, AZ, and Oklahoma. FWIW, I think the biggest loss this offseason is Morse's leadership and steady hand at C.
  12. I have to amend this statement after last night’s game. They get to the 25 is they field it in that 20-yard zone. If they’re dumb enough to return a kick from the EZ, then all bets are off.
  13. Canada! They at least actually like the sport. Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver to start. What they don’t seem to get is that they’ll never be more than a niche in traditional soccer countries. In England, for example, the NFL would be behind the soccer, Rugby, Cricket, and perhaps even darts and snooker.
  14. How can the Eagles pay two #1 WRs, a franchise QB, the highest paid LT, and Barkley? Does the cap not apply to them?
  15. I didn’t watch that. I’m just going off what those two old guys said on Sirius/XM NFL Radio.
  16. They didn’t want to pay a RB big money. So, they let him test FA. What happened is that he never came back to the Giants to see if they would beat the Eagles offer because he wanted to stick it to the giants for tagging him last year. He also was probably tired of losing. The Giants have made it clear that they would have beat the Eagles offer.
  17. Tolbert’s call to play ratio tonight is HoF worthy.
  18. I have a question for all you gamblers. Can you bet the o/u on the total number of penalties?
  19. Thank good I started Ronald Tolbert on my fantasy ref team tonight. Just an elite performance from him.
  20. She 6’2” in bare feet. She played basketball and volleyball at UGA.
  21. Love wants to throw an INT sooooooo bad.
  22. The Peacock produce is Sunday Night Football. It's just that there is no juice in the stadium and they sent their B team to Brazil because their A team was in KC last night. And the camera work is bad because that stadium is configured for soccer where you want a higher camera angle. OMG, Collinsworth is doing Walmart commercials now.
