  1. The concept of a trap game is that a team was looking past a weaker opponent in anticipation of playing a stronger opponent. Like the Bengals losing to the Pats with a game in KC on tap. But in none of these games did we have a big game in the next week. The Bills just played poorly against the Giants, the Chargers got that new coach bounce, and the Broncos were on a heater at that point. Remember, they had just beaten the Chiefs 24-9 in their previous game.
  2. He's running his NFL team like a hedge fund/tech start-up. He's going fast and breaking things. Boy, is he ever.
  3. Brian Cox, Miami Dolphins. Loved that guy! /s
  4. Im from Buffalo, but went to grad school at IU. We lived in Bloomington for 9 years and both my kids were born there. It’s just that IU football feels like a bit of a lost cause. IU basketball, OTOH, breaks my heart every year.
  5. IU Football is a bit of a random thing to drop into that.
  6. Or maybe both defenses are really good? We don’t know in week 2.
  7. Case Keemun has been in the league for 13 years.
  8. No, he became a star via his podcast with his brother.
  9. I’m beginning to think maybe they don’t.
  10. DC of the Browns
  11. Joe Burrow and a rookie QB.
  12. Hurts should have ran for the first there.
  13. There has been a shift to more running this year. We'll see if that holds as the season progresses.
  14. Just thought that we should have a thread in case someone wants to discuss
  15. They’re dropping like flies out there
  16. If you wanna see how people who care deeply about this feel, this thread is an interesting read: https://www.carolinahuddle.com/topic/262138-bryce-young-benched/#comments
  17. What was he doing with 5-star recruits?
  18. He's talking about this guy
  19. Andy Reid in full pads is a funny thought. Or how about Belichick?
  20. This is the second time that the Bengals are crying about refs, but in both cases their offense could have prevented this from even being an issue. Yesterday, all they needed was a few first downs to ice the game. Instead, their OL let them down again. I knew exactly how this would end as soon as the punt team came in. In the AFC CG two seasons ago, the vaunted Bengals offense got the ball with 2 minutes left in a tie game. All they needed to do was to get a few first downs and kick the game winning FG. What happened? They punted. The Bengals love to talk about "Burrowhead" and about how they're the only team that can beat Mahomes, but in the last two big games against them, they came up small in the end.
  21. Chicago's defense is very good and their pass rush got home in the second half.
  22. He limped off and Perine finished the game.
  23. He was so not open at all. You can’t ask Worthy to catch jump balls.
  24. Now all we need is a Worthy TD to get a full TBD meltdown.
  25. They were holding things back last week. All these plays to TEs from under center were not called last week and it cost them a game.
