9/14/25 Week 2 GAMEDAY Bills @Jets Gameday Thread
Low Positive replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
You know it. To be fair, if I had been there, I wouldn't have left but I would have lost hope. I just never leave games because the tickets are just too expensive and I only rarely get to games. If I had season tickets, I might have left. I almost turned off the TV, and if there had been another game on, I would have changed the channel. -
9/14/25 Week 2 GAMEDAY Bills @Jets Gameday Thread

It is hard for us fans to keep this perspective because each one of these games feels like a life and death struggle to us. I was in town for the Thursday night game against the Bucs a few years ago. Every Bills item was on the clearance table in the Transit Road TJ Maxx on Thursday afternoon. When I asked the girl at the counter why, she said that the store manager came in on Monday morning after the loss to the Pats, loudly declared the season "over!" and told them to put every bit of Bills gear on clearance. -
They play at Penn State in two weeks. We'll know more after that game.

For those of you not watching, Clemson just lost to Georgia Tech on a walkoff FG.

I want to keep pointing this fact out. When that game kicked off last week in the Meadowlands, nobody had any idea of what a Tanner Engstrand offense led by Justin Fields looks like. They ran nothing in preseason. Engstrand had never called plays at the NFL level. The only places he had been a playcaller were at the University of San Diego (FCS-level) and the DC Defenders of the UFL. The Steelers had to start pretty vanilla and adjust as the game went on. The Bills have a week of tape.

Ed Oliver in walking boot..per Matt Parrino

There are a lot of injuries league-wide. We just don't notice because we don't care so much. Just last night, the Commanders lost their #1 RB for the season and the Packers probably lost their #1 WR for a very long time. If we can't lose a DT for a few weeks in September, this team was going nowhere anyway. -
TNF Commanders - Packers (No Bills Discussion)

September football is ugly enough without short weeks. In an ideal world, Thursday night games would start no sooner than week 5. -

Mike McDaniel lasted a bit longer, but his system has also been "found out." -

Daniels is hurt, and is risking his team's entire season in a misguided attempt to gut out a game that is already lost. -

I wouldn't write the Lions off yet. They have 2 new coordinators so it may take a while for them to get going but the roster is there. -

It probalby isn't, but given where the flag was thrown he should have know it was offensive holding. That's if he saw it. -

And love probably got Dobbs' arm broken on that play that was called back. -
Thought some of us might be watching some football tonight... Packers are picking on Lattimore tonight.

If you can watch that film, the Bills coaches and players can too. The Steelers didn't have that luxury.

This needs to be moved to the political forum so you guys can yell at each other in a place where I don't have to know that it even exists. I just want one space on the Internet where I can look at football news and escape the horror show that is the world in the 21st century. -
I’m in Ohio too. The first thing I do when I hit WNY is get pizza. I would drive all the way from Cincinnati just to get Bocce Club. I like take out wings from LaNova. I get a bucket with half hot and half BBQ. The surprising thing will be just how much better the blue cheese is in WNY than it is anywhere else. I would also walk around Elmwood Village. A lot of nice shops and cafes. But then again I grew up there so that’s the old neighbourhood. If you want local fast food, Elmwood Taco and Sub is really good but Mighty Taco is a local legend. But the best part about being in town is everyone is a Bills fan. Also, go to Wegmans and get a couple reusable Bills shopping bags. They are great conversation starters in Ohio with the Kroger checkout girls. Oh yeah. Get a loganberry! It’s a taste of childhood for Bills fans.

Bills add former second round pick Phidarian Mathis to PS
Low Positive replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Young busts are good PS additions to see if they are redeemable in some way.
