  1. The Jets took the whole 30 million salary. The Bills didn't have the cap space to do that. That's why he's a Jet, not the cost in draft picks.
  2. There is a good shot that the Browns beat the Bengals this week. No matter how good the Bengals have been and how bad the Browns have been, Joe Burrow has lost in Cleveland almost every year.
  3. It's how we're wired as animals. My favorite quote on this is
  4. So, if you're getting sacked, just throw the ball straight down?
  5. Maybe I don't understand the rules, but how was that non-fumble not intentional grounding? He was in the tackle box, in the process of getting sacked, and the ball didn't make it past the LoS.
  6. That you, Skip?
  7. Tua throws so many dropped INTs. I think the DBs aren't used to the ball spinning the other way.
  8. I don't like how Rodgers doesn't wear Jets gear after losses in his pressers. He seems above the team.
  9. Interesting. I thought that I saw Aaron Rodgers saying "that's not a penalty" after the RTP call.
  10. If you can't enjoy the wins, I don't know why you watch.
  11. Division wins are sometimes ugly, but that one puts the Bills in the driver's seat for the automatic playoff spot.
  12. At the end of the first half of the 2021 AFC Championship game, the Chiefs had the ball on the Bengals 3 yard line. Mahomes threw the ball to Hill short of the goal line and the Chiefs came away with no points. They lost that game in OT. Those three points cost them the game.
  13. THis message is non-functional when big things happen.
  14. Of course they will. I might be right there with them. I can overreact in the moment. I sure as heck did at HT last week. I even changed my username to Low Positive after the Broncos game because I was so discussed by everything and then we went on that crazy ride. I am trying to remind myself that this is supposed to be entertainment, but I know that is a losing battle.
  15. I think we lose this one and get them in Highmark later in the year. If we lose, the season is not over by any means.
  16. This is supposed to be fun, isn't it?
  17. The Chargers have more ToP than Nix has passing yards.
  18. Both the Ravens' and the Chiefs' DBs hold on every play and dare the refs to call it. That's what the announcers mean when they say "sticky coverage."
  19. I got Kmet on the bench.
  20. But the Niners are contending, and the Raiders are not. That's a big difference.
  21. Those were slight move ups. To Get Thomas, the Blls would have had to get in front of Jacksonvills. Go and look at the actual draft, and identify the team that would have been willing to trade back. Here are the relevant picks: 17 Minnesota Vikings Dallas Turner 18 Cincinnati Bengals Amarius Mims OT GeorgiaSEC 19 Los Angeles Rams Jared Verse DE Florida State ACC 20 Pittsburgh Steelers Troy Fautanu OT WashingtonPac-12 21 Miami Dolphins Chop Robinson DE Penn StateBig Ten 22 Philadelphia Eagles Quinyon Mitchell CB ToledoMAC 23 Jacksonville Jaguars Brian Thomas Jr. WR LSUSEC 17 - The Vikings traded up with Jacksonville to get Turner 18 - The Bengals reallllly needed OL help and took the best that they could get. This was a terrible pick, but the Bengals don't know how to scout OL so it's par for the course 19 - Rams needed to replace at least part of Aaron Donald's pass rush production 20 - The Steelers reallllly needed OL help. They took a C in the second round who's starting for them. 21 - Fins would never trade in division, otherwise this would have been the spot 22 - Eagles had a terrible secondary last year and went into the draft aiming to address that. Their first two picks were both CBs, and they got the best one in the draft here. 23 - The Jags read the board the way that I just did and traded back knowing that Thomas would still be there. The Bills would have had to massively overpay to get those teams to not take the BPA at positions of real need. In retrospect, Beane should have used that Minnesota 2025 second to move up before the draft, but we had no way of knowing that the Vikings would overperform this year.
  22. Vegas still likes the Bills a lot more than their own fans do. But I do think that the team that they don't know what to think about is the Jets.
