You can tell that Gabriel spent a lot of time throwing to Bond with the second team in practice. He is looking for nobody else on passing plays. Teams are really coaching the punch-out. I think some of the poor tackling across the league is because defensive players are more concerned with forcing fumbles than wrapping guys up. Hear that sound? That's all of Cleveland measuring Dylan Gabriel for his gold jacket.

Probably less likely because of the artificial turf. -
There are a bunch of restaurants and hotels down there, so he was either picking up food or delivering it. It's unclear. From the police report, it happened here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Loughmiller's+Pub+%26+Eatery/@39.7666772,-86.1643723,197m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m15!1m8!3m7!1s0x886b50ffa7796a03:0xd68e9df640b9ea7c!2sIndianapolis,+IN!3b1!8m2!3d39.76909!4d-86.158018!16zL20vMGZ0eHc!3m5!1s0x886b50ba6806a235:0xfd44a057437fcf7!8m2!3d39.7669546!4d-86.1638008!16s%2Fg%2F1tfp_l3b?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MTAwMS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D

They might be getting tendencies on film in order to break them later in the season.

I'm currently watching the BigXII refs help ranked Iowa State come back against unranked Cincinnati. Gotta help the league's CFP chances.

Of course, anyone who spends time posting here is all in. But every Jags and Panthers fan of a certain age was a fan of another team prior to 1993. Titans fans were probably mostly Falcons fans when the Oilers relocated. Heck, old guys here talk about being Browns fans until the merger. Were they disloyal Browns fans? They switched allegiances when their town got a team.

Former Ravens kicker Justin Tucker suspended for 10 games.

The juice has to be worth the squeeze. All puns intended. -
Pegula, who owns the Sabres, made a partnership with this.

Looks like an agent made a little call to Pellisaro. -
This is the same city that used to yell "hit em with yer purse, Phillis" at future hall of fame defenseman Phil Housley.

All offenses stall sometimes. The 2013 Denver Broncos were the highest scoring offense in NFL history. They still punted 65 times.

Boy, that Belichick is really revolutionizing college football.

I'm going to bow out here, because I touched a nerve. Tensions are high due to playoff baseball and other reasons. The reason I responded how I did was the insinuation that I, as a native-born Buffalonian, should be happy if the Leafs get McDavid and win a Cup. Last time I checked, Buffalo still nominally has an NHL team.

Nobody disputed the fact that there are a lot of Bills fans in Canada. But that doesn't transfer to us being fans of other "regional" teams. If you are trying to say that most people in Buffalo are Blue Jays fans, that is just wrong. The Bisons have been the AAA affiliate of a lot of MLB teams, including Cleveland and the Mets. And most people I know in Buffalo are Yankee fans if they care about baseball at all. This is mostly due to Buffalo getting Yankee games, not Jays games, on local cable during the 80's and 90's. I don't know what the situation is now, but my dad watched every Yankees game on local TV until he passed a few years ago. I'm not saying that Canadian Bills fans are lesser fans, but the idea that there is a natural connection between the Bills and Blue Jays is simply not correct. And the OP was arguing that the we should all be happy if McDavid goes to the Leafs? I suppose we should all be happy when Ontario invades Buffalo twice a year and starts fights with Sabres fans in their own building. I know the Sabres suck, but I still hate the Leafs.

No doubt. But there was no need for the Bills to say anything. Also, how many of those Toronto and Southern Ontario Bills fans remain Bills fans if Toronto were to get an NFL team? As you say, that border becomes thick when there is an option on your side of it.

I'm more worried about Mack Hollins stomping on Benford. -
It was hard to search, but here's one: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10061112-lamar-jackson-hasnt-felt-right-after-testing-knee-injury-before-ravens-vs-bengals Here is another one: https://www.thebanner.com/sports/ravens-nfl/lamar-jackson-knee-injury-C6MP2ZEBKVCH5MSAOOU5UPTHD4/ The subtext here was Lamar's contentious contract negotiations with the Ravens. It was clear at the time that he didn't want to play on an injured PCL because there was a very real chance of further injury that would have cost him millions. I remember at the time that the real scandal wasn't that he didn't play. It was that he didn't fly with the team to the game to support them. Which in and of itself wasn't a big deal, but it is clear from the second article that I linked above that there was a disconnect between Lamar and the Ravens at that time that played a big role in public perception of his actions and statements.

Buffalo is not in a region with Toronto like Newark is with NYC. I don't have to show my passport to cross from New Jersey to New York. The Bills are WNY's team. Most Bills fans either live in WNY, are from WNY, or have ties to the area. Contrary to popular belief, Buffalo has a hockey team. They might suck, but most Bills fans are Sabres fans. I know there are some who are not, but I think even they would agree that this is the case. Sabres fans HATE leafs fans the same way Bills fans hate Pats fans. The other fact of the matter is that Buffalo is in NY. Most Bills fans I know are either Yankees or Mets fans, though Toronto and Cleveland are closer to Buffalo. These are facts, and no amount of marketing can change that. The Bills promoting the Blue Jays during a playoff series against the Yankees is a decision made by the Bills' marketing department and is extremely tone deaf. It's almost as bad as the Colorado Avalanche owner having the Av's players attend a Rams home game (he owns both teams). 99.9% of Avs fans are also Broncos fans (duh!), and they are PISSED about seeing their players at another NFL game. These owners and marketing people have ZERO idea about the loyalties of their own fans.

I got into a discussion with a guy in a York pub years ago (It was the year Leeds United first got relegated). My argument was (and is) that the reason that the US doesn't compete in international football/soccer is that it's not the default sport here It's interesting to think about how certain Amerrican athletes would be as footballers. My usual example is Steph Curry. His feet are so quick, and he has elite vision. So does a guy like James Cook. You put a ball in their feet from birth and I think both would have been elite players.
