Brian Flores suing NFL, NY Giants, Dolphins, Broncos.
Low Positive replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm sure that all of this is nothing new. As someone mentioned above, Frazer interviewed with the NYG after Daboll too. But because Flores realized that he's not getting another HC job because of all the stuff that Ross and the Dolphins' GM is spreading around the league about him being difficult to work with, he decided to torch all the bridges to get one final NFL payday before going to college. That's my speculation. -
YACs Dorsey. We want more YACs.

What ever did become of that dude he used to back up with the Vols. Did he every play in the NFL? 😁 -
Super Bowl LVI: Bengals at Rams

Yeah, I liked Brady when he upset the Rams in his first SB. -
I'm already there with Mahomes and the Chiefs. At least they're not in the division.

I don't think that he can do that unless Tampa releases him because he's still under contract with them for next year. Otherwise players would "retire" to get out a bad situations all the time.
-
He said his goodbyes to the NE fans two years ago. I am also sure that the Pats will so something at the home opener next year.

The Tire Discounters sign that I saw on my drive to work today read "Just beat a typical sneaker head." -

It goes beyond that. They don't have any separate facilities. They have the stadium, which is owned by the county, and a grass field next to the stadium. They practice in the stadium almost exclusively. So the team owns nothing. This is because Mike Brown has no source of income besides the team. Mike brown never spends to the cap because he doesn't have the money. They've caught lightning in a bottle and they had better win now because they won't be able to pay all those guys after their rookie contracts are up. -

Doesn't a new OC usually hire his own position coaches anyway? -

Yeah, Tee Martin followed Payton Manning at Tennessee and was the starting QB on the 1998 BCS champions. -

Just went over to a Ravens board. A lot of their fans want Roman fired and Martin to replace him. I want Dorsey just for continuity, but Tee Martin will be an OC in the this league soon so interviewing him is probably a good step. -

It's like if Chad Hall interviewed for an OC position. The other team's fans would be all "who?" and we'd all be upset. -
The Bengals had already won the division at that point. If the Bills had lost and the Pats won in Miami, the Pats would won the division. Joe Burrow was limping around at the end of that week 17 game against the Chiefs. Playing him in a meaningless game was have been reckless. What the Bengals were trying to avoid was not the Pats, but rather the Colts. If week 18 had gone according to plan, the Colts would have been the 6 seed and played the 3 seed on the road.

POLL: Which ad are you happier NOT to be seeing lately?
Low Positive replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
Imagine being a Chiefs fan and having to watch Mahomes State Farm ads as he was choking away the game. -

Only if Cincinnati wins. Those opening games are almost always conference games. -
KC actually lost the game by getting greedy at the end of the first half. They kick a FG there and they win the game.

Brian Daboll hired to be Head Coach of NY Giants
Low Positive replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
There was an analysis of the all 22 that looked at the line up and the reaction of the players that showed that players expected them to squib or kick ir short. -
They drafted offensive weapons, built the D in FA and ignored the OL. They lost the trenches all season, but overcame that. They gave up 9 sacks last weeks. Until the last few weeks, everyone in Cincinnati wanted to run Zach Taylor out of town on a rail so all those on here talking about coaching are missing the point. The Bengals are on a run of luck. They should have lost in Nashville if not for a lucky bounce and caught the Chiefs after an epic game against us. If the Raiders had a QB they should lost that game too. I live here and no one saw this coming. This is a weird league.

Only if Cincinnati wins. They usually don't have non-conference games for those season openers.

Hope the SB is as close as these two title games.

Brian Daboll hired to be Head Coach of NY Giants
Low Positive replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
All indications are that he called a squib, but that he lost control of the team in the chaos of the celebration after Josh threw that TD with 13 seconds left. It seems that he never got complete control of the team after that.
