  1. Absolutely they earned a day off.
  2. Better than I thought it would be. I think all those Limited players will play on Sunday, along with Dawkins (probably remnants of playing in the heat) and of course Saffold and Miller.
  3. Honest mistake. You just had me in a panic for a moment.
  4. Try being in Cincinnati. We get Steelers-Jets.
  5. Am I missing something? What other starter have we lost for the year besides Hyde?
  6. I've watched every Bengals game this year and in key moments Burrow holds to ball too long, waiting for a play to develop down the field. His TT stats don't bear that out because they also throw a lot of screen passes to WRs and Mixon that skew the average. He also doesn't feel the rush particularly well.
  7. Cincinnati tried to fix their OL via FA in a single off season. Invested a huge amount of money. It didn't work.
  8. First of all, the Cowboys line is not nearly as good as it was in years past. But, your point is still valid. The pass rushers are getting better and better and OL play is dropping across the league. This is because: OL is hard to evaluate because HS and college football is all read option or single-read spread offenses. No one has to hold a pass block. What kid grows up dreaming of being an OL? Everybody else on the field gets to do something fun, but OL just has to block, not hold and pray not to be noticed.
  9. That's just it. I've asked for an example of a team that would withstand an injury to their RT or C and not miss a beat. That have no answer because that team doesn't exist.
  10. FTFY
  11. Bobby Hart is the OL version of the Mendoza Line.
  12. The Bills did that in 2020.
  13. Gold Star 5-way? That's a whole lotta onions. On a more serious note, Cincinnati is the only place in the world where can order a kids 3-way in the drive thru and not go to prison.
  14. I hope so, but I just don't know if the Bengals can withstand all that blitzing that the Fins do. I've watched all of the Bengals games this year OL has been bad in passing situations and Burrow has poor pocket awareness and holds the ball too long.
  15. The thing that bothers me about the Ravens is that nobody in the media says that Lamar Jackson should run less. Josh, who is 3 inches taller and at least 25lbs heavier, is always told to run less. If josh keeps doing that, he’ll end up like Cam. but the smaller Jackson should keep rushing for 100+ yards a game like it won’t take a toll on him.
  16. By the 4th quarter, Knox was in the locker room with an IV in his arm.
  17. The worst thing about all NFL losses is that you have to sit with it for a whole week.
  18. He got hurt in camp with the cards and was cut at the end of August.
  19. It’s not just Tua. The Fins kept running injured players back out there like it was a playoff game or something. They really felt, probably from ownership on down, that they had to win this game to send a message or because they feel that they had little chance of winning in Buffalo in December.
  20. The Fins treated it like a SB, trotting injured players out there in ways that will hurt them going forward. McD treated it like a week 3 road game. We still almost won.
  21. They’re gloating over a 2 point win at home?
  22. I just don’t know if I want the Bills to run the ball enough times to “establish a run game.” I just looked at the stats for the Colts/Chiefs game. JT had 22 carries for 78 yards. If that was a QB stat, it would be horrendous. All running-heavy teams have similar stats. In 2022, it just seems inefficient. I would agree that we need to improve our ability to pick up 1-2 hard yards with RBs.
  23. You could tell it was serious at the time by the looks on the players from both teams.
