  1. I guess he wasn't getting elevated this week after all.
  2. Also Lamar is juuuust a little hard to sack.
  3. He's done. He's especially done in Buffalo.
  4. I have a feeling that being returned to the practice squad finally got the fact that he is done as an NFL starter through to him.
  5. This is the point where somebody reminds you of the Jags game. It's the first law of TBD. "Remember the Jags."
  6. That number is skewed a bit by the 7 sacks against the Rams.
  7. We're getting the game here in Cincinnati, but only because the Bengals play on Sunday night and we always get the Steelers game as the second option.
  8. Sounds like a TSW post during the drought years.
  9. Poyer could come off the receiver because the book on Lamar is that once he tucks the ball and starts running forward, he becomes a running back. Against Mahomes, I think he would have stayed on the receiver and Hamiln would have had to defend the runner one on one.
  10. Not very good is an understatement. The Bills OL is not very good. The Steelers OL is really bad.
  11. I just went an looked at the game book and you're right. 36 yards passing and 2 picks.
  12. I just went and watched the video. That guy doesn't come that open until the safety (Poyer I think but I can't see the number) comes off of him to come up top play Lamar as a runner. By that point he wasn't looking downfield anymore. Mahomes might have flipped it to him, but that's not Lamar's game. And Lamar gave himself up to avoid the hit because he was gonna get drilled short of the goal line anyway.
  13. Listen, I'm gonna give you shotgun. But I want you to know it's because only 'cause I'm goin' inside. Keep that in mind. All right?
  14. I'm not a football expert, but I think I see what happened here. Let me try to break this down. There was a crossing route in front of Knox's route. The whole defense was either a)Watching Josh or b)distracted by the crossing route. Knox kind of snuck back there. It wasn't until Josh threw the ball that they turned towards Knox. By that time it was too late.
  15. Really high football IQ. Eats and breathes the game. A real coaches son.
  16. That was a joke meme image.
  17. Frazier has an entire half of film. Probably enough.
  18. Bengals fans want Mixon cut. I live here so I know.
  19. I don’t often agree with you, but this is exactly what is going to happen. They’ll keep playing until the end to give the rook reps.
  20. I don’t want a “good running game” because it require 25-30 rushing attempts a game. That’s not winning football in 2022.
  21. That guy has been a master troll all day. I appreciate the art.
  22. This thread has become exactly what I thought it would become; a bunch of bitter divorced old men cryptically complaining about their ex-wives. Just like when the Bob Kraft scandals broke, you could tell the TSW posters who frequent rub and tug joints and hookers.
  23. In order to have an effective running game, you have to stick with it. Running is much less efficient than passing. You will punt more. You will have more plays for negative yardage. Everyone raves about Saquon Barkley’s year, but his 146 yards last game against the Bears took 33 carries. They only had 16 passing attempts. If a QB had 146 yards passing on 33 attempts, he would get benched.
  24. Thanks for your insight. As a fan, there is so much that we don’t see because the game is so complicated. And to support your point, Baldy noted the same thing in his breakdown of the play. Still photos of plays often show guys as being way more open than they actually are.
  25. We just kept Lamar Jackson in check. I think we’ll be OK.
