Patriots @ Vikings - Turkey Day Special
Low Positive replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
To be fair in that playoff game, if Hyde doesn't pick off that certain TD to Agholor the game might been different. -
I think that some of you people would have been happier with a loss here as it would have proved your narratives. I, for one, will take any win any way they can be had.
-
No fan base thinks that their team gets calls. Every call against your opponent is warranted and every call against your team is bogus.

We didn't make them look good on D. I didn't like all those second half punts either, but the stats tell a different story. The Bills out-gained the Lions through the air and on the ground. The Bills gained 401 total yards, with 164 of those being on the ground. Yes, Josh was the leading rusher, but Motor was right behind him with 72 yards on 14 carries. That's 5.1 yards per carry. The Bills are starting to run the ball much better in the last few weeks. That might not continue next week as the Pats have a very good run D, but it's on film now so teams have to game plan for it.

Don't mention his name here. It's bad karma. I thought that he has a concussion on that late hit in this past game.

We are everywhere. Every time I wear a Bills hat or shirt in Cincinnati, somebody says "Go BIlls" as they pass me by in a store or parking lot. Every time.

The Bills won against the Lions because… ( karma reasons only)

After that long punt return, I took off my Bills hoodie and threw it. I went on a 5 minute screaming tirade about how guys being paid millions should be able to make simple tackles. I even made the point that I now hate this team and everything to do with it and would never watch a game again. The tirade was so dramatic that my family all left and went for a walk. In other words, I made myself look completely stupid after they came back to won the game and had to live it down for the rest of the day. In other words, I made an a** out of myself, but I did it for the Bills. You're welcome. -

Josh has to have numbness in his throwing elbow. It looks like he doesn’t know where it’s going. -

They’re a tough team to blow out because they can put up points in bunches. A few weeks ago against Chicago, they were losing 24-10 going into the 4th. Game over, right? The Lions scored 21 points to win by 1. The Bears also scored a TD but missed the PAT. You have to keep your foot on the gas to beat this Lions team. -
Just looked it up. 9/18 for 56 yards and a pick.

Week 12: Bills at Lions on Thanksgiving

Exactly! Any combo that we have is better than anything that the Browns or Jaguars ever wear. -

If you scroll up, Josh was taking snaps from Bates in practice today. -

Only 10. The last one was Kurt Warner in 1999. EDIT: interestingly, Tom Brady has won the MVP three times. In two of those years he lost to the Giants in the SB and in the other one he lost to the Jets in the divisional round. -
Hines elite returning ability shined vs Browns

Josh threw a long pass to him down the left sideline against the Jets but he overthrew him. -
I'm going to go a different route. The drought began with the Music City Forward Pass. That's our butt fumble.
-
That should not have been a TD, unless a Bills player touched it. But the Peterman half was the year that the drought ended.

The Bills tried this against the Jets. Josh overthrew him down the sideline. They should try it again. -

I agree. I also credit Dorsey/McDermott for recognizing that the Browns have a terrible run D and actually running the ball. Detroit is bad at both run and pass D, so we'll see what the game plan is for this week. -

It just means that when the Bills are clicking on offense, it is a high-risk/high-reward style. Josh tries to force the ball into tight windows. It was working before the bye week. I mean, how many times did the media say "no one else could make that throw?" The game winner to Knox in KC or that one where Davis ripped it out of Fitzpatrick's hands against PIT come to mind. If you attempt those throws, some will get picked off. This week, he didn't try to make those throws. Josh had Diggs open in tight(ish) windows and chose to check down instead. We didn't turn the ball over, but there were no wow plays. I'm not sure what I prefer. -
Diggs caught complaining to McDermott on broadcast

For some reason coaches clapping really bothers fans. Indiana basketball fans hated Tom Crean's clapping. I mean, they really hated it. There were lots of reasons to hate Tom Creans coaching and recruiting, but the clapping is what brought about the most hate. -
