  1. They want to vote for Lamar, so they look for reasons to justify it. Last year they used team wins, this year they used stats. They don't want to vote for Josh, so they look for reasons not to do so. Last year they used INTs and this year they used fewer passing yards. At this point, they might as well name it the Lamar Jackson annual MVP award. He'll win again next year.
  2. He's a clown with an MVP vote. Most of the MVP voters are clowns.
  3. Florio's reasoning is that Lamar's numbers are better. They're better because they allowed him to pad the stats.
  4. Lamar is going win another MVP because he played an entire game in week 18. The statistical gap is just too big now. If Josh wanted to win, he would have had to have played in the 4th against the Jets to get his passing yards higher. The Ravens did everything to win that award for Lamar, including allowing him to put the entire franchise at risk by playing meaningless snaps to pad his stats against the Texans and Giants. It seems to mean a lot to the city of Baltimore.
  5. He'll never have to pay for dinner in Columbus ever again and he's guaranteed at least a radio show.
  6. He tore it again like last week and just had a second surgery. He wouldn't be ready until 2026 minicamp at the earliest.
  7. That's true. Single season leader is Erik Kramer in 1995 with 3,838. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/chi/single-season-passing.htm
  8. All I heard on this board for years is that defense doesn't matter in the modern NFL so the Bills should load up on offense and outscore teams in the playoffs. Now, this week all I'm hearing is that we gonna lose because the Broncos have a better defense than the Bills. So, which is it?
  9. Your telling me it's NOT good that the last time a Bears QB led the league in passing yards was Sid Luckman in 1946?
  10. The only NFC teams that were as bad as those you list for the AFC were the Panthers and Giants. All the rest of the bad NFC teams were competitive at some point of the season.
  11. To your credit, you were right on this one.
  12. You just have to know that that is the UC Bearcat. They’re opening a Shake Shack in Clifton near the University of Cincinnati.
  13. I'm sure that the Rams would rather play inside than deal with the elements in Santa Clara or Seattle. And Vegas, although much closer to LA, is out of the question because the massive CES tech conference is happening there and there are few hotel rooms in town.
  14. Remember this thread after the Texans playoff loss?
  15. If you want positive news in that chart, it's Denver only being +3 after being handed a 38-0 victory by Andy Reid coaching to lose last week. That means in their other games against playoff teams they are -35.
  16. Mark Davis' and Mike Brown's only high-value asset is their team. For most NFL owners, the team is, at best, a break-even hobby. And BTW, Mark Davis spends a lot of money on that stupid haircut: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/13735322/are-mark-davis-raiders-leaving-oakland
  17. Ravens fans entire identity seems to be tied to Lamar being the MVP. They want that more than a Superbowl.
  18. So, reading this thread, the vibe I'm getting is "Bills suck, Broncos rule!"
  19. Last year, a lot of posters here thought the Bills would struggle with Mason Rudolph and the Steelers. Its the BBFS.
  20. In Tyreek's case, it's even worse. They restructured his contract, converting a lot of it to a 2024 signing bonus. One reason he wants out is to get an extension because there isn't much money left on his contract.
  21. The complaints are actually very similar. Fans complain about soft zone and a lack of in-game adjustments. They also have Ravens and Steelers envy and want an aggressive D that mostly plays man coverage.
  22. Then everyone in Cincinnati is disconnected from reality, because everyone here is happy about it. https://thebengalsboard.com/thread-39819.html
  23. We already talked about this in the Black Monday thread. All I'll say is that Bills fans are the only people who still like this guy. Bengals fans complain about a lack of in-game adjustments and his unwillingness to come out of zone defense to stop running teams. Sound familiar?
