  1. Also most college offenses are single-read spread schemes. OLs are not asked to hold a block for nearly as long as they are in the NFL so it makes it a hard position to evaluate.
  2. Look for an AirBnB in Elmwood Village. You’ve got dining, the Art Museum and lots of little stores for shopping.
  3. I’ve watched a lot of these preseason games, and Aiden O’Connell is probably the most impressive rookie QB that i’ve seen. I may be getting Petermaned though.
  4. Hockey and soccer players have been wearing them for a few years now. That’s how they can post how miles a player has run or skated during a game. It also is an extremely accurate heart rate monitor. They also have accelerometers and gyroscopes so you can know how fast a player is running and how hard he’s working in real time during practice or a game. It’s really cool and useful technology that unfortunately looks like a bra. It has to be that way because that’s the least intrusive for the athletes performance.
  5. It’s an GPS vest and players wear them under their jerseys at practice all the time.
  6. Stroud already out.
  7. They signed Trevor Siemian this off season, but last year it was Jake Browning. The Chiefs had Chad Henne for the last two years and he played well in injury mop-up duty. He won that playoff game against the Browns two years ago. I liked the Bills situation the last two years much more than this year.
  8. All we are getting are Tweets. He’s probably mostly running with the 3s, so our Tweeters aren’t watching him.
  9. If I was scheduling national preseason games, I would schedule teams with rookie QBs and teams with a lot of roster uncertainty. For the most part, the Bills roster is set.
  10. I don’t live in WNY and this is a place I can talk to other people who also care about something I deeply care about. Sometimes the negativity gets to me, but I expect to be here a bunch more this season because my dad just died and he was the primary person with whom I talked about the Bills. I actually need you guys, warts and all.
  11. I love the fact that the Bills are set at the QB position, but training camp was more fun with a QB competition.
  12. I think that's a Cards/Rams game.
  13. It's just in TC, if one good guy wins a rep then that means that another good guy lost. It all depends on how you want to read it.
  14. That seems about right. I know that the money matters, but If you hit on a 6th round corner then that makes missing on a first-round one a little bit easier to accept.
  15. Here’s what I think happened. Diggs has thin skin. Eli Apple was taunting him all game, and he lost it. That happened very publicly. Instead of apologizing and making amends, he doubled and tripped down. The team gave him space to save face. He finally took that opportunity today.
  16. He’s actually worth more than that. These guys have a unique skill that only a few people on the planet posses and that skill happens to generate a lot of publicity and money for franchises. Player values are artificially deflated by the salary cap. With the combination of his contract and commercial agreements with the club, Ronaldo is making over 200 million per year in Saudi. Without the cap, that’s what NFL QB contracts would look like. What’s Mahones worth in an upcapped world?
  17. So then not “smartest,” but most negative. It’s an index of misery.
  18. Just goes to show that the "Patriot Way" of joyless football only works if the team is winning Superbowls.
  19. Look up thread
  20. They could have had them approved by the league and just not revealed them yet. That’s what Andre seems to be hinting at.
  21. The dislike of Lamar Jackson on this board seems personal. Is it because for his first two years he greatly outplayed Josh Allen, making us all defensive?
  22. At least the Bengals aren’t hypocrites. They just resigned Joe Mixon and Pac-man Jones is the co-host of Bengals Live. Mike Brown doesn’t care.
  23. I have always thought that Centers are at a disadvantage. In the case of Morse, he calls the protection and has to handle the snap (usually a shotgun snap) before he gets to engage as a blocker. The guy he's blocking just gets to pin his ears back.
  24. I live in Cincinnati. The locals were angry after that loss to the Browns on MNF. Joe Burrow was holding the ball forever and taking sacks. The line looked worse than in 2021. People wanted Zac Taylor fired for poor in-game management and bad play calling. Then they switched to the quick short passing game to mask the poor OL play after the bye week and they started rolling.
