  1. I understand the firing, but doing this midseason for a team that will almost certainly make the playoffs seems a bit strange. There has to be more to this story than we know.
  2. Brandin Cooks has a cap hit next year of ~26 million. That's why he wasn't traded.
  3. Skip never moves off of a position. That's his schtick. Still hates LeBron and loves Tebow.
  4. This probably has everything to do with the fact that they play the Browns this week. The Browns have beaten the Bengals 5 times in a row. In the last game, Burrow was sacked 5 times. They match up well with KC, but they’ll lose some of these final 5 games.
  5. I just don't think that you can bring a QB into a new system for week 14 and expect him to run the offense.
  6. It's crazy how far he has fallen since 2020. That year he led the Browns to the playoffs with 3,563 yards, 26 TDs and 8 INTs. Now he can't stick on the Carolina Panthers.
  7. That's true of any NFL team. But the Bears will be the team with the worst final record that we play all year.
  8. I just posted on another thread that the Bills haven't played a real bottom feeder this year. The Steelers are not a good team, but they play teams close. Same goes for the Lions and Browns. When the Bills played the Rams, they had a healthy Stafford and Kupp. Probably the worst team the Bills played were the Packers. This is all to say that I cannot wait for the Bears game.
  9. Looking back on this season, the Bills haven't played an actually bad team since the Steelers game. The Browns and Lions are losing games, but they don't get blown out. If we got to play the Colts, we would score a bunch.
  10. Brock Purdy was actually really good at Iowa State. I watched some of their games because of all the table-pounding for Breece Hall. He easily could go on a Zappe-like run and lead SF to the playoffs. This is especially true because the Shanahan system doesn't demand much from QBs.
  11. At this point I'd roll with the guy that already knows the playbook.
  12. That Nov/Dec Chiefs stat is kinda BS. They lost week 17 last year to the Bengals, but the game just happened to be in early January. So Mahomes record in January the past few years is not so great.
  13. One of them will be gone soon enough. They're all on rookie contracts and Mike Brown is very much a "cash to the cap" kind of owner.
  14. Josh already has a #1. He really needs a Higgins. Or, what I would really like is a Deebo-type who only needs to get the ball in space to break a long one.
  15. Its a really good strategy because Mahomes is so hard to sack and he's really good under pressure. But it only works if the coverage holds up for 4-5 seconds.
  16. No, but he was born and raised in Queens. That almost confirms it.
  17. Hill and Waddle are how they've built the team. It's tough to stop. The only real way is to keep scoring.
  18. Nothing compared to Ian Eagle openly rooting for the Jets today.
