  1. I'm sure that we'll get updates when they have something to report. Right now, they have very little to report.
  2. 2008. Because it was Dick Jauron we just had to finish 7-9.
  3. My son never wanted to play football, but that was his decision. He did play soccer in high school and suffered knee, ankle, and leg injuries along with multiple concussions.
  4. None of this really matters, but since this thread is discussing football stuff I will post this here. I can't see the Bills beating the Pats this Sunday. Are Fraiser, Dorsey, and McDermott game planning as we speak? Will they hold practice to install the game plan tomorrow? Who's playing slot corner? Who's playing FS? Are all those players that looked shellshocked last night going to be ready to play at full-speed in a game that the Pats will play like a playoff game? IF we play the game, we'll have to play a preseason vanilla O and D with the Pats having everything to play for. I think the Bills go through the motions and get beat and enter the playoffs as the #3 seed.
  5. I don't think that its Chiefs fans in general. I just think Chiefs Planet is a toxic unmoderated online community.
  6. The Bills are going to have to pull themselves together and get ready to play a NE team that needs to win to make the playoffs. It's not just playing the game. They have to start today with offensive and defensive game planning and then have to do the installs tomorrow in order to be ready to play on Sunday. I'm just not sure that they have that in them after seeing their reactions last night.
  7. Bengals came out with their hair on fire. They usually go cold for stretches in games when they attempt to "establish the run" and Joe Burrow gets out of rhythm. That would have happened at some point because it always does with them.
  8. There are better places to get it than Skyline. Camp Washington Chili is excellent.
  9. You either love it or hate it, kind of like blue cheese on wings. I happen to like both.
  10. Denver's only first rounder is the one from Miami that they got in the Bradley Chubb trade.
  11. That’s been their motto since Burrow said it in a presser last year. It’s painted on the front of the stadium.
  12. It means that someone else will be calling a game on the radio. I wish Troy Aikman could get the flu.
  13. That was the case until 2002. That’s when they realigned into 4 divisions per conference and the 4 seed is the worst division winner.
  14. I've asked this question on here before, but WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH BILLS FANS??? I'm surrounded by Bengals fans and all of them to a person are 100% absolutely sure that they are winning the Superbowl. They're practically planning the parade. They've been that way since they beat KC. Requiring turnovers on 4 straight possessions to beat the Bucs and almost blowing a 22 point lead to the Pats did nothing to shake that confidence. What they don't do is dissect wins to the point where they feel like losses. They also don't let opposing fans on their message boards, but that is a discussion for another thread.
  15. That Jets team reminds me of a drought-era Bills team. We often had great D, some nice offensive weapons, and bad QBs. Teams like that play golf in January.
  16. I feel so guilty. You guys are flying in for the game and I live about 10 minutes from the stadium and I'm not going. You shouldn't catch too much grief from the locals. They are used to being invaded by Steelers fans and Cubs games at GABP are like Leafs games at KBC.
  17. While, I'm sitting in my back yard in only a hooded sweatshirt typing this message so as of this morning it feels like spring. Looking at the forecast, there is a chance of rain and thunderstorms but very little wind.
  18. Josh is like a bigger, stronger Brett Favre who can run. The risk-taking comes with the package.
  19. I wish Josh would learn to take the underneath passes, but it just isn’t in his makeup. He’s got that Brett Favre dog in him. But I do wish that the Bills had a receiver like Jamar Chase that could make contested catches. Watch Burrow tonight. Half of the Bengals playbook are i’ll-advised passes to Chase on the boundary that only work because he makes catches when double covered.
