  1. I don't want to derail this thread, but the Who held an anniversary concert here in May 2022 (was supposed to be in 2020, but got postponed due to COVID). My kids go/went to Finneytown HS where three of the kids killed went. So, he was invited along with 10 classmates from the school choir to sing the "teenage wasteland" part of Baba O'Riley on stage with the band. After the song was done, my son got a fist bump from Roger Daltrey. Pretty awesome moment, to say the least.
  2. I wonder when the peak happened. I think a lot of people tuned in once the upset was in the works. I know as a neutral fan I would have put the game on when the Fins took the lead.
  3. I think that it’s due to the very high number of local Steelers and Browns fans here.
  4. Bengals fans won’t let opposing fans on their forum. I, like you, live here and wanted to discuss the SB last year and they wouldn’t approve my account because I made it clear that I’m a Bills fan.
  5. You could say the same things about the Bengals. They needed a 98 yard fumble recovery to beat the Ravens last night. Huntley was .5 yards from breaking the plane. They haven’t looked really good for 4 quarters since the Chiefs game. I’m not at all certain of a Bills victory because the Bengals have the tools to beat anyone. But if they blow out the Bills it will be their first dominating win against a good team this year. The same thing can be said about the Bills. Should be a good game.
  6. The Giants under Wink are an interesting case. It’s the old Ravens system so they blitz a lot. In fact, they lead the NFL in blitz percentage. But they only have one more sack than the Bills.
  7. And then the KO out of bounds on the kick after the ensuing FG. That was the swing in my mind because that gave the Dolphins points and hope. Up to that point, they had almost zero yards on offense.
  8. Exactly. Imagine being a Vikings fan yesterday. So many missed tackles.
  9. I’ve watched every game, but I’ll let the numbers tell the story. The Bengals have the 4th fewest rushing attempts in the NFL.
  10. I think it’s the battery pack for his headset and he blows on his hands because they’re cold, but vaping during a game does totally track.
  11. The Bengals have scored over 30 points three times this year. It was against the Falcons, Steelers and Panthers. Looking at their roster, it seems like they should score 35 points at will, but for some reason they don’t.
  12. Twitter is rampant with speculation that Mike McDaniel hit a vape pen during the game. You be the judge:
  13. That was local boy Sam Hubbard. The refs would have been killed if they called that. It’s like I’m sure that there were holds and blocks in the back on Hines’ KO return but there was no way that was going to be flagged.
  14. Yesterday was only the second time that the Bills defense has given up 30 points.
  15. Then how do you explain that soft DPI call on Tre that extended the Dolphins lone actual drive?
  16. I would argue that it started snowballing when Knox dropped that pass in the EZ. Then after the FG Bass kicked out of bounds giving the Fins a short field.
  17. The stoppages yesterday were on the reds and both teams for punting and turning the ball over. By the third quarter I think CBS had run out of ads because they didn’t cut away after a few punts and some timeouts.
  18. The only teams that the Bengals have scored 35 or more points on all year have been the Steelers, Panthers and Falcons. All of their playoff wins last year came down to the final possession. Even with all those weapons and with how good Burrow is they don’t tend to blow teams out. You know that.
  19. You don’t get 3 being the home team anymore. It’s usually 1.5 or so, but it varies from game to game. I posted an article on this up thread.
  20. Last night was an interesting case for Collinsworth. He played for the Bengals, lives in Cincinnati and is around the team all the time. I think he did a professional job of analyzing the game and not being a homer. But I’m sure Ravens fans don’t agree.
  21. What they were taking you on for is that Vegas odds makers don’t just give the home team an automatic 3 points anymore. You’re right in that was the practice for a long time. Now, they actually try to use analytics to figure out what the home field is worth in any given game. It’s usually closer to 1.5 but it varies. Here is a discussion of this: https://amp.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/nfl-odds-how-much-home-field-advantage-worth-spread
  22. People, me included, say a lot of crazy things that we don’t really mean in the heat of the moment.
