  1. No!!!! I can’t take three more weeks of Bengals hype around here. Let them get crushed by KC.
  2. The loss still stings and we won’t get to watch the Bills play again for 6 months.
  3. ECHL teams have dollar beer night on Wednesday.
  4. Let the Sabres make the Playoffs and then get back to me.
  5. But if I remember correctly, Tre got to Chase before he got to the sticks but didn’t make the tackle.
  6. Frazier can’t be fired because his contract expires after this season. He can, however, not be renewed.
  7. This is probably true. So then if the Bills bring in another WR Diggs will just get more angry because his targets will go down. But I just went and read the Tweets. He didn't really say anything bad. He's just mad that they lost. He refers to "out level of play," which includes himself. I don't like him leaving either, but he was probably really worked up and felt it better to extract himself from the situation. I've done that before to stop myself from saying things that I would regret later.
  8. I’m sure, but the schadenfreude has to be strong.
  9. I think the additional context to this is that Eli Apple was trash talking him all game. He’s pretty easy to rile up, as we saw in the Packers game. He wanted the ball to rub it in Apple’s face but he never got it. He was worked up from the start of the game. He yelled at Josh on the field for throwing a ball too low on the second drive of the game.
  10. Vikings fans are all probably like “we told you so” right about now.
  11. It’ll have to be Dorsey. The cap hit on trading Diggs is simply too high.
  12. Comfortably ensconced in Indy? He was fired mid season. I’m sure he would like to work again.
  13. And Mike Brown has no other source of income other than the team. He owns no businesses and his father was a football coach.
  14. The thing that gets me is that the Bengals were able to use a manufactured scandal over ticket sales to whip themselves into a frenzy. And it actually worked, as evidenced by Joe Burrow's comments about ticket refunds after the game. You could see the rage in Mixon's runs. He hadn't run that hard all year. He wanted to not only win the game but stick it to the Bills and the entire city of Buffalo for wronging the Cincinnati Bengals. It went so far that the entire city of Cincinnati adapted their outrage. Just goes to show that there really is no more powerful emotion than the feeling that you and people like you are being victimized. I wonder what outrage they'll use against KC?
  15. The Bills lost 6 regular season games in 2021. The best team Allen ever had was the 2020 team.
  16. I picked the HC, because that would mean a new coaching staff across the board. This has just got to stop. It feels like McDermott has lost some of that locker room and once that happens its almost impossible to get it back.
  17. The SB season was the 2020 season IMO. At least to get to one.
  18. I thought they postponed that interview because a soccer player died in Charlotte?
  19. Wasn't much of a home field with all that orange in the crowd.
  20. That was last year on the schedule. This was supposed to be SB loss #1.
  21. Payton wants $20 million and a warm weather team. I think he wanted that Chargers job pretty badly. I think he sits out another year waiting for Staley to get fired or McVey to walk away.
  22. No, I am not. I am saying that McDermott is. I think we need some toughness on this team in the worst way. I know there were schematic reasons for the loss, but my main takeaway is that the Bengals are a much more physical team. They play with a palpable violence. Playing them is like playing the Titans, but with a future HOF QB and the best WR room in the NFL. They will win the SB this year and Joe Mixon is getting arrested at the after party for punching a stripper but no one here will care.
  23. I'm not going to read through this whole thread, but Diggs was hot from the start of the game. He was pissed at Josh for a low throw (that he did catch) on the second drive of the game. Just like in the Green Bay game, I think that the Bengals were talking a lot of trash and it got under his skin. That's why he took the loss so hard; he felt emasculated by Eli Apple.
  24. He cannot be fired. His contract is up. He would have to be renewed.
  25. A bunch of years ago, Cowherd quoted an anonymous NFL scout saying the OL is the hardest position group to project to the NFL from college. This was due to the proliferation of single read spread offenses in college. No one is asked to hold a block while a QB runs through his progressions. The OTs that are easy to project go in the top of the first round while the others are all crapshoots.
