Kaiir Elam is a liability any time he is on the field
Low Positive replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Beane was fooled by Elam, so was the rest of the NFL world. I know people hate mock drafts, and they are useless as predictors of actual picks. But they are useful in looking back on the consensus of the football world on a player leading into a draft. Every mock that I can find for the 2022 draft had Elam as a first-rounder, and all but one had him going before the Bills pick. Sometimes, a player does not live up to their potential. I could create a long list of these players, but they sting a lot more when that happens to your favorite team. What we know about Beane's drafting is that he focuses a lot on physical traits over college performance. Sometimes that works (Josh Allen, Groot) and sometimes that doesn't (Elam, Cody Ford, and perhaps Spencer Brown). I actually think that the lack of big-time winners in high school and college on this team is holding them back at crunch time in the playoffs, but every time I state this on here I get a lot of red exes and throwup emojis. For example, Josh has never won a championship, and I don't think Diggs has either. The Bengals are loaded with guys who won in college. The game is never too big for Joe Burrow because he played in the Ohio High School Championship Game and in the CFB Playoff Championship game. Higgins won at Clemson. Chase, of course, won at LSU with Burrow. Mahomes won a state championship in Texas, which was probably the biggest game in his life until he played in the Super Bowl. But then again, neither Brady nor Kelse won anything in high school or college so what do I know? -
He’s been released. No trade needed.

If We Lose to Tyrod Taylor I Will ....(fill in the blank)
Low Positive replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, they have to win this one. The Bills should be 5-0 right now and they still have to play CIN, KC, PHI, DAL, and LAC with 4 of those 5 on the road. -
Sunday Night's Game v NYG -- What's on Your Menu?
Low Positive replied to HIT BY SPIKES's topic in The Stadium Wall
OT: My wife made a pizza last week that was excellent. Dough from Trader Joes. Ricotta base, topped with a 4-cheese blend and prosciutto. Then after the bake, she topped that with arugula and a drizzle of balsamic. It was really good. -
And their last SB against the Rams was 13-3.

How good is the Bills new starting defense?
Low Positive replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
We haven't actually seem them play yet, so I don't know. I would have to think that McDermott is adjusting the scheme to take some of the coverage load off of the OLB, but we don't know how he'll do that. -

I don't disagree, but the Chiefs lost to Matt Ryan and the Colts last year and I think that the season worked out pretty well for them. -

Watch the game next week like the sucker that I am. I'm on this train for life. My father raised his fist and said "Go Bills" on his death bed. That's how deep this runs. -
McD said he was on a snap count. Looking at the snap counts for the game I think it’s safe to say that count was 20.

Is Tyrod Taylor the Giants QB Sunday night ?
Low Positive replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just checked. If Jones is out, they’ll have to elevate Tommy DeVito from the PS. -
Im sure the purpose of the restructure and the release is to allow him to go back to KC. There is nothing Beane can do about that.
-
We wouldn’t even have to lose. A close(ish) would do the trick.
-
Not at PUke. They’re bad at football this year. If OSU gets past PSU next week, then they’ll win easily until the showdown up north.

As an IU grad, I can attest that nothing good has ever happened in West Lafayette. Except perhaps the birth of Axl Rose. The whole place smells like cow turds. You probably don’t care, but Incould deliver a 10 minute rage tirade on that bastid Brian Cardinal right now. BTW: Welcome back.

Broncos/Commanders was a riot. Broncos get a hail mary but miss the 2pt conversion on an obvious PI.
-
Middle of the pack is incredibly generous. They gave up 70.
-
Maybe the regular season has become boring for them?
-
No Diggs? Show that to Whitlock. He could get three shows out of it.

Can’t make the Swifties cry.

I think that he posts under different names

Will we learn anything the next three weeks?
Low Positive replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
You can learn a lot. I want to see the offense back in rhythm after last week. For as bad as the score looked, the Giants D actually frustrated the Fins D last week to an extent. The Pats still have some pieces on defense and BB can still coach that side of the ball. The Bucs are a sneaky good team, especially if Mike Evans is back. I want to see the offense look like it did against the Raiders and Fins, not like it did against Washington. I want to see how the defense adjust to the injuries and how they deal with WLB. There is a lot at play in what should be 3 wins. But then again, "any given Sunday/Thursday." -
Roger Goodell said today's game was an experiment??
Low Positive replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
That flag that you see thrown was a roughing the passer penalty on the Chiefs against Tom Brady in the fourth quarter of the 2018/19 AFC Championship. Here's the whole thing. It's one of the worst calls in NFL history, and that's saying something. And of course, it led to another Brady SB in NE. -
I want that, but mostly because I enjoy chaos (on other teams of course) and a QB controversy in NY would be fun.
-
They were a bad team last year and got a lot of good fortune that led to wins despite being poor in almost every stat (besides Ws). They have regressed to the mean. They also are suffering a lot of injuries on the OL which is making it very hard for them to put up any points.

If he has a ***** in the armor, we might ***** defeat from the jaws of victory. Otherwise he is the #### of the walk.
